it is my opinion that Dr. Peterson realized the interviewer was an aggressive person. His distracted posture and lack of initial eye contact was his attempt to appear non-threatening, as to diffuse her anger, so that they might have civil discourse. I have adopted this stance many times while dealing with similar females.....and I'm female too. Yes, Dr. Peterson is correct in stating that women use character assassination in the form of weaponized gossip.
I saw an interview where Dr. Peterson said this woman was great and extremely friendly, basically sweet as pie before the interview began, then suddenly she turned on him. Very unfortunate!

This was hilarious to watch. She tried so hard to trip him up and he wasn't even rattled at all. He kept his composure and answered all her questions thoroughly and well and even had her thinking about the facts he put out there.

As a woman I have nothing but respect for Jordan Peterson! He is a modern day philosopher and if interviewers would just let him answer a question completely, I believe, they would be drooling in their cheerios. He thinks and speaks so intently about subjects we all should be thinking about. It is long past time for men to become hard men and stand up for what is right.
I didn't know the man but he's exuding serenity and has a calm but well articulated speech, in the non sleep-inducing way. I will listen to him more.

I think most men as you put it are hard men. I think the problem with standing up and doing what's right is a conflict with being a hard man. I don't tell other guy's what,how or anything they should or shouldn't do. I mind my own and expect other guys to mind theirs. I won't be bullied or pushed around or told what to do by anyone. If I know I'm going to get my ass kicked I'll do my best to get out of it but I'm not running. I'd like to think that for the most part I do what's right and pretty much have all my life.

He answers this last part SO well. It's NOT a simple 7 second answer, and it seems she is desperately begging for one. It's not feasible to demand women all dress the same and take steps to hide their natural attractiveness to men. It's also not feasible to demand men outright disconnect from a biological response they were born with. Both of these things can certainly be controlled. A woman can control what she does and doesn't wear, and a man can control his outward response to an inward biological response to an attractive woman. The question, as Peterson said, is to what extent can each be expected to control it? This woman had a knee jerk reaction to reject any control on her own behalf.

On top of that she changes the subject quickly when she realizes she can't win the conversation even when she tries to construct it in a way to catch him in a mistake.

He is telling the truth. When I was in the world I would use my voice negatively and not listen. Now that I'm in Christ I quieted down and listen which God said for all of us to do in his word.
The thing i love the most about him is that he doesn't have any sorts of personal desires in "winning" the discussion but he just want to talk about things and answering question with facts and calm. Instead she takes the matter on a personal level right away almost like a crusade against him.

Its not only in the way some woman dress but act or conduct themselves as well …. Listen i work side by side with my wife every day 60 hrs a week in the construction imdustry and i promise u this … My wife is built like a brick shit house and just a beautifull … She starts with dressing in looser fitting clothing no make up puts her hair up in a wash cap but even more importantly she is all business and very clear on demanding respect and even then there are some knuckleheads that dnt get the hint …. Thats where n when i step in .. But 98% of the men we encounter are very respectable and she has very rarely been hit onn.. Now also its different everywhere . For instance in construction its very rare for men and woman to be alone or even have time for stuff like that we work hard we work fast we want and have to get our tasks done there is no laybacak time like in other settings such as maybe a law firm or hospital … There is so much to take into consideration on this topic . Its very interesting .. Also i wld

She's basically asking him not to talk about certain truths, because if he does, he allows those things to exist and permeate. It's just the perfect example of how feminism, and radical leftism operates. Ideas are dangerous and infectious, and if something is true and we don't like it, we forbid people to talk about it until it's suppressed and forgotten. They live a highly subjective existence, where if they "feel" something, it must be real and true.
It's insane to look at a person that can develop a human being inside of them and say:"Ahh yeah, I think you are a little bit different than me"; only to be met with:"NO NO!! PROVE IT!".
Mr. Peterson has helped me gain a lot of insight. He’s also made me re-examine the way I speak to people and it’s helped me to formulate my thoughts in a more concise manner. Some people are challenged when they’re around intellectual people I think some of the greatest things you can do for yourself even if it’s extremely uncomfortable is to listen to these people to seek them out you may not agree with them but you will have opportunities to gain something out of any conversation if you’re willing to listen. I am not the most intelligent person and I know this about myself but I can tell you that man is intelligent beyond belief and she still doesn't get it. She tends to cut him off prove it she doesn't understand by asking him questions in a different way that she's already asked and he's answering and explaining it easy enough for a 5 year old to understand.
I’d be interested in her take on the fairly-recent spate of female school teachers engaging in relations with their minor students and if she believes it to be predatory since she seems to have dug in her heels on the subject.
She probaly an adherent to the "One rule for me, another for thee." brigade.

I really like the way Devin allows the videos he is analyzing to play and not interrupt very often then after the video is over he gives his analysts. Some many other you tubers using this format, constantly interrupt the actual video so I just shut them off.

I think she did plenty of research, however she didn't back it up with scientific fact and it was all one-sided from the liberal and feminist perspective and he ate her alive with her own crap. It was as if he held a mirror up for her.

Peterson here, has far more patience than I ever would with this woman. I went to high school with a girl who attempted suicide after years of being bullied by other girls. Due to this and other experiences I've personally had with women, I would say the research Peterson is referencing is absolutely spot on. "Mean Girls" is absolutely real.

The interviewer's destroy themselves. Dr Peterson doesn't come with " opinions " , he comes with research and proven data taken over many years . Not just his own work , he studies the work of many other psychologist and draws on factual conclusions . I'm not so keen on his ideas on the Bible and its meaning and think his is misleading . Not deliberately, that is not his intention , but after many years of personal Bible study , it is not his strong point.

@@andrabook8758 I've seen him in an interview with someone equally cool and calm and she challenged him at every turn, she gave him space and time to answer. Her questions were probing and thought-provoking and it gave him a moment to pause and consider before he answered. Quite interesting! The interview is on You-Tube btw.

Yeah - this wasn’t a dialog, conversation or even a debate. This was an interrogation based on her constant interruptions. Much respect for Jordan that continues to put himself in these situations to bring focus to open discord.
She's attempting to argue against the point that women show aggression through "innuendo gossip and reputation destruction" while she is actually engaged in that specific behavior.

Hi Devin. I really admire how you present your perspective. My sons are 28 and 21 and I have strived to teach them to think for themselves (successfully I believe). I can only imagine how proud your parents must be. Keep up the great work!

We cannot be qualified in all fields, which makes it quite possible that we could be holding wrong beliefs and making wrong decisions on many issues.
I think we need to learn how to debate, listen and learn how to filter sources of information.
A difficult if not impossible task, but necessary.

Just an opinion, but I don't think that group is likely to be typical of folks who advocate for "thinking for yourself ".
I think also that their are plenty of people who use quotes from an expert as a throw down hand intended to end debate. That is credentialism, not thinking, and is certainly open for criticism.

She tried, the entire interview, to trap him into saying women are the issue and he kept saying it was a cultural issue. Jordan has never been someone to push blame on people that don’t deserve the blame, I love that!

As intelligent and accomplished this man is, he has the humbleness to state “I don’t have the answer”, that on its own is separates the interviewer and Him. Her answer will always be, “because men…”. Nothing about this interviewer came from a place of learning and understanding. The whole interviewers body language, intent and line of questioning was set up for entrapment. Even then, he was too intelligent to fall for it. You are entitled to feel how you are feel, but I urge you to click away from clips and watch the interview in it’s entirety. Or even click out of our debate and read the numerous comments around the world regarding this interview.
What a terrible woman - she keeps up interrupting him and appears to assume that she is entitled to do so. Mr. Peterson must be a very patient man - I would not have been that lenient.
He just did not want her to win :)
They all tend to be like that, especially at the BBC. We should just live for the truth though and not make a war out of it as they do.

I always love watching people debate Dr Peterson and Ben Shapiro. The guys are both highly intelligent and gifted. I've actually learned a lot from both of them. I wish I would have started listening to them years ago.
I’m a big Joe Rogan Experience fan and that’s where I first heard of a Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro. I found their intellect fascinating. They’re both quick witted, keen and knowledgeable of their fields and always, always have facts and statics to prove their argument or conversations. When I first watched them on JRE years ago I’ve subscribed both their channels and been an avid listener and fan of theirs. I find myself agreeing with their views often and probably will switch political parties because the I’m not a fan of their tactics and they don’t represent what they used to be. They’ve created so much animosity and division among the American people. It’s disgusting and disturbing, downward spiral. It seems like they advocate the WEF agenda. Scary thought.

I don't think she would have agreed with him no matter what he said. She was predisposed to disagreeing with Jordan. She seemed perturbed by his brutally honest answers backed by years of clinical support.
She's trying her damnest to just warp his words around and make him into a monster for everyone to hate on, but every word she says makes her look smaller and like an absolute passive aggressive fool with no information. You know she cried her eyes out after this from pure embarrassment and humiliation
I sincerely doubt that her limited self awareness let her notice she got owned. She probably thought she "scored one against the patriarchy".
