How to Reset Amazon Firestick Remote & Fix Batteries Draining (Best Method)

To do this, hold the left dial and the three lines button down for 15 seconds and then remove the batteries. Unplug the firestick from the wall outlet for 60 seconds and plug the batteries back in. Go to your settings... Look for equipment control...Add Equipment... Tv.... And the fire stick will walk you through whether or not it's syncing the remote to your television... Just don't have any other TV on in your house tho

My tv is messed up because the other day I had my channels and then all of a sudden they are all gone. I hope tomorrow I get my Firestick fixed so I can watch tv again like all of the channels. Reset the remote as per instructions. Made no difference to battery life on the remote. Ran down a new set of batteries in half a day. Really hacked off with this stupid POS.
