Would you recommend the regular bronze library package or bronze leader package? I mainly use logos for self study but have recently been helping our Bible study leader create questions. (New tool for this is awesome).
I'm a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. I've used Logos for a year now (Logos 10 Baptist Gold along with some other add-ons) and absolutley love it. I recently added the Pro early access. I've registered for the "Next Era of Logos" event the morning of 10/21. Is there an affiliate link I should use for you? You've been very helpful over the last year. Looking forward to the upcoming libraries! Blessings!
Thanks for the feedback! My affiliate link is at the top of the description below. Just clicking the link should work! I plan on live streaming the event on the 21st if you care to attend. :)
I subscribed to Logos Max. I assume that these prices you listed and their subsequent discounts, are only available after October 21st, right? Thank you so much for sharing this video. I definitely subscribed to your channel :-)
I just got off the phone with Logos, and was told that the “The Gold Edition - Bible Engagement Project” won’t be available after October 20th. I’m an A/G Pastor, and with my current libraries, this package would cost $411 after his discounts. It comes with a LOT, but I don’t know which is wiser, to get this or wait for what might come in the Gold package for the Gold Leader Library. Your thought would be greatly appreciated. I’ve watched this video 3 times already.
@@timchesonis They have a lot of libraries for denominations coming out next year. I would take a look at all 4 Gold libraries that are available at launch and decide if any of them are 'close enough' to what you want in terms of resources. If not, then I would wait for the release of the denominal libraries next year.
Evidently, this is a taboo question? Nobody has replied. If it is, I apologize . I would love to hear how many books others have accumulated over the years. It’s not a pride contest, I’m just curious. We keep hearing that the larger our library, the more resources we have to draw from. But what is considered “large”. I have 2,501 books in my library. Is that enough, or way more than enough? I don’t know what standard to make this assessment against. Any opinions or direction would be greatly appreciated.
I think a large library also is dependent on what you are using Logos for- if that makes sense? Like a large library for a lay person who is using the software to help deepen their personal study and devotions probably looks different than someone who is using it for Pastoral Ministry or Academic studies. I also am unsure if the number of books in my library includes print ones... Because if thats the case my number is skewed 😅
I have just under 2500 I don’t really know what’s large. I know I have many books than I will likely never read but most of them came from base packages and a lot are ones like commentaries and study bibles I basically only use when I’m studying a certain section. I’m not the kind of guy who opens a commentary just to read it tho power to those who can. I did only start my collection at the beginning of logos 10 so I can’t imagine having a large library (like literally I downloaded the app and played with it a bit and then 10 came out later that month) but on the other hand I’m a student so I have bought a bunch I need for school. Logos Standard diamond has roughly 3000 and portfolio has about 4000 books so maybe that’s a “large library” if those are the largest you can buy setting aside collector with a whopping 8000 books but I’m in no position to drop 10 grand on it
I decided I could match my lifetime spend with the company by getting the Discipleship Essentials Set... Only to use it to leapfrog into getting the Silver Feature Set at a better price.
This is crazy. I mean, as long as we're going to get different perspectives on the Bible via commentary, why can't it be based on denominational perspectives on theology and the like?
Hyped!!!, lets goooo! Very awesome to see you doing these libraries buying guides!
My pleasure! ❤️
Interested and excited to see what the researcher library is!
It’s on my list! Hopefully I can get to it soon!
@@PastorTanner please do!
Thank you for your Logos in depth videos! Very helpful. Can’t wait for 10/21! 🎉
I think it is going to be a great day!! ❤️

Where’s the link for the information of this video?
I don’t believe the information has been released publicly yet.
Is there a place for us to see what’s in each tier of this library?
Are there any “Portfolio” level libraries? Thats where I sit.
Half of these I already own, so my package should much cheaper.
Yes - the dynamic should be great for prior owners.

And this is after we get the subscription.
Right.
I get enough of this with Prime.
Fair enough.
Not to be a Douglas Downer, but I think for what we've spent on our resources, we should have a life-time MAX subscription gifted to us. LOL
Haha! They might just have to decide a threshold for that!

@@TyrekeCorrea That's a nice move.
That's less of a tier and more of a category; the levels are tiers.
That makes sense to me, yes.

Those are still coming I believe.
