I have the Pro Subscription and after using Logos for about a week with the new interface I must say I'm very impressed. It really puts more information at your fingertips and presents that information in an efficient manner. Both the summarization and synopsis features are time savers as well. Well done Logos.
I've watched this new opportunity 3xs now and really enjoyed seeing what Logos is growing into. I'm thinking about changing to Logos Max even though I signed up for Logos Pro. I really enjoyed seeing how diverse Logos is with where people live and yet are part of this team. Thanks, Logos. Wanda F. Sewell
I have never been a fan of streaming/subscription services. I much prefer actual ownership without required ongoing cost, so I expected to be disappointed in this reveal. But seeing this Legacy Fallback License granting ownership for non-AI features is so exciting! Looking up my price for 2 years, and I am very heavily considering it. Thank you so much for looking to the needs of so many of your customers!
I didn't go with the subscription, and will not go along with it, because all of the features under the Legacy Fallback License aren't known right now. So to financially commit to a subscription for 2 years is a gamble as to whether or not you'll even want the features that fall under the license (and I have absolutely no interest at all in the other features of the subscription, nor any consideration of them). If all of those features under the license aren't known now, then no way am I committing to a subscription.
@@Crusader7077 For me to understand tech well, I can deduce well what features use cloud and/or AI. If you already own Logos I would talk with someone about that, I think they may have some of those answers.
I see here many who are not keen on subscriptions, the use of AI or even both. That is exactly where I was when the news broke about the subscription model and eventually the use of AI. But I did take the plunge with the early access deal where I could bail out if I wanted to. The transparency and the way Logos is structured now soon convinced me that the subscription is a great deal. I’m definitely going to pay tor two years upfront. In my mind that is not much different than buying the software. Also, this AI engine uses the books that I own, so that tells me that too, is transparent and above board. I have the ways and means to check up the legitimacy of the AI generated content by following the references. Simple as that. So as a major sceptic, I’m really pleased to announce I’m now a very happy customer.
I purchased this product some years back, honestly I wanted a awesome tool that included a interlinier Bible with a concordance fitted with numbers and a strongs set up. I was disappointed. $700 later?
I am probably the slowest adopters to Logos. I used Wordsearch for years, and currently have Logos 9. A big part of my problem is that Sundays come around ao quiclky that I dont have the time to learn the Logos software. I still find myself going back to Wordsearch. I know this will have to change, but........
Hi Tony! Be sure to check out our training materials if you're looking for assistance: support.logos.com/hc/en-us The great thing about Logos is that you don't have to know EVERYTHING about it, or make use of ALL its capabilities, in order to still get value out of it though!
I presume that Bill McCarthy saw a subscription based system as the model to keep funding coming in that is better than purchases of the updates. I can sort of understand that need for survival. Will new users of Logos be able to purchase a base system so they are not beholden to subscription payments in order to keep using what they have?
Web and desktop have the highest number of features available, but many are also available on mobile and tablet. You can learn more about new features and what tier and devices they are available on in our regular "What's New in Logos?" articles. Here's the most recent one: www.logos.com/grow/release-october-2024/
Hello! Please let me clear up this confusion! You can use your Bronze L10 software still, no subscription required. It remains yours to use. You can read more in the FAQ here: bit.ly/4dOkIvu
It's a good advert. But it's a shame that the price for that truth feels so high. I'm a user who bought Logos 8, 9, and 10 (platinum). Feature packs are gone and the truth is only easily accessible by subscription...what's different about capitalism? I feel there is a huge gap between the gospel that Logos tells us and the gospel that we experience. To those who have money, the truth is near, and the truth is far away for those who don't have money? (1 Corinthians 13:1, NIV) If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. The user experience is disappointing. I am very disappointed in this update. Logos. I will not be subscribing. No matter how good the AI search is.
We do understand that Logo in Hebrew means God correct? So even naming this Logo.... people with eyes to see and ears to hear are going to not want to watch it.... worshipping false God's out in the world through our Logos and those teaching God in the world don't even understand it.... 😢
I'm loving the update! Thank you Logos Bible Software/Faithlife!😊😊😊
That's what we love to hear! Enjoy the update, and your time in the Word.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! And we love our global team working on Logos!
Subscription is very good and it makes easy to be accessible for all with premium to max based on every one needs.

We love our customers! We couldn't make a product we think matters so much without your inspiration and support. Enjoy your legacy fallback license!

It's so satisfying to see a skeptic won over! Thanks for staying open minded and coming along for the journey. Enjoy the new Logos!
No AI for me please. Just make the regular software more intuitive. I don’t feel like I need a subscription model to make that a reality.
I purchased this product some years back, honestly I wanted a awesome tool that included a interlinier Bible with a concordance fitted with numbers and a strongs set up. I was disappointed. $700 later?
I can't wait to become a Pastor so I can get the Collectors edition

The Logos engine itself remains free, and the subscription unlocks new features and supplemental resources.
Please add a feature of bookmarks with built-in search in Android app.
Thanks for your suggestion. Feel free to share it at: feedback.logos.com/
Will the free version still be available? Can I still buy books and resources individually?
Absolutely, yes. We're glad you asked!
I am not afraid of Ai however I feel like most should be. I would love to learn more GOD I can’t seem to learn enough.
Will all these features be available on ipad or iphone platform?

Does anyone know how we can access the courses with the subscription? Can’t find it anywhere on the website
Hello! Here is a help article for how to access courses on Logos. support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016294211-Courses Hope it helps!
Thank you
I just paid hundreds for my software (Bronze). You're not saying that I have to pay monthly to use, are you?

Do not buy - do your research first

Logos means word, in a basic sense. I believe this how they are using the term "logos," not in a philosophical way.
