BUDDYMOON DAY 459/1000 (VLOG 134)
After traveling to many places in Malaysia, we finally made it to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's capital city. We have heard about this city so much that we were so explore it and see what it has to offer.
We started the day off by going to go check out Petronas towers, the world's largest twin towers and see if we can get a photo with this gigantic building. We then continued to explore the city by hopping onto its train system. Kuala Lumpur has a large train system but they are all separately owned, so using the train system can be quite tricky as a first-timer.
The train dropped us off in Bukit Bintang, a popular area in Kuala Lumpur where we just walked the streets looking for something sweet to eat and experience the city. Our goal here was to find the ramly burger, a very popular burger in KL. We searched for this burger on Jalan Alor street as it seemed like the best place to find this burger.

I have travelled to many cities around the world and I will say that KL is my No.1 city
north korea ain't so bad.....!
@@jeffjin9492 I guess you went there 😉
liar
@@Natalie_Chu-SG Why am I a liar? Please explain
@@jeffjin9492 only crazy people like you visit North Korea hehehe
I've seen so may video's done by foreigners in Malaysia but you guys as a couple seem to have absolute chemistry... its not fake ... love it... i like her attitude... she's a fun person
There is a pedestrian overpass (Bridge) from KLCC (Petronas Twin Tower) to Bukit Bintang Pavilion Shopping Center
You can actually walk from KLCC to Pavilion at Bukit Bintang via bridge connection.
I really admire foreign tourists who appreciate and enjoy their time at the iconic Petronas Twin Towers in KLCC. Amazing RM10 photo.
We had a too good time there, but that is due to the people😜😁
@@thebuddymoonIt's really lovely watching you guys having some fun at KLCC. 😀
@@thebuddymoonA little fun fact. KLCC site was once a turf club, a horse race course, until KLCC development first phase took place beginning with foundation in early 1993 and full completion in 1998. 😀
RM10 too much already
u should try malaysian murtabak please
Actually if you want to go to Bukit Bintang from KLCC you don’t have to walk towards the monorail station…Underneath KLCC there is a LRT station which will take you to Pasar Seni station and from there you change train to MRT Pasar Seni 👉🏼 to MRT Bukit Bintang…
Alternatively you can walk from KLCC towards Bukit Bintang via a air conditioned tunnel and elevated walkway. The distance is around 800m and takes about 15min to reach Pavilion Bukit Bintang.
It’s all interconnected from one mall to another.
So nice to see you guys explore KL! The Adeem Cam was legendary 😂
Hahahaha🤣🤣 what a legend😜 think we need Adeem with us all the time🤣🤣
Leanne is kool 😅she has a unique way of conversation when she asks for anything frm any shopkeeper or conversation with locals
Hahahaha😜 thank you😁
@@thebuddymoon u have a unique way of talking especially with strangers or localities can't explain in words it's lyrical 😆but I thorally love it, both of u compliment eachother so well that it's joy to watch u pple video's editing is superb all credit goes to Leanne I think she does it as I heard it one of ur videos love 💕 from India 🇮🇳
When you two kids were posing for the photo and standing in front of the water.
It reminded me of European Vacation with Chevy Chase.
The photographer who offers to take a photo of them, talks them into removing their shoes and stepping into a fountain. Then he runs away with their camera!
16:52 In Malaysia murtabak is a savoury Indian pancake similar to roti canai in Malaysia or roti paratha in India. The dough of the murtabak is filled with mince mutton and eggs or chicken and then fried in oil on a flat pan. That's why the seller is telling you murtabak is different from the ones sold in Indonesia. 🥰🥰🥰 Wikipedia
Hi guys.
Some burger stalls and other small stalls in KL are usually open after 6pm. You can find the burger stall at the end of Jalan Alor.. it's called Burger Boss.
Welcome to KL, Malaysia. Thank you for this wonderful video. The Petronas Twin Towers are indeed the most iconic landmark in KL.
@Inspiration-xw6to 😀
Actually you can just walk from KLCC near the park there via covered pedestrian bridge to Bkt Bintang. Alternatively there is one free bus ie GoKL in front of the bus stop where you guys paid rm10 to have you pic taken to bkt bintang too. 😊
yeah correct. they don't need to walk actually
You are taking the long way, whilst the bridge is fully aircond at the same time you can see the surroundings. Tourists can get assistance from locals.
Hope you all have a good day in our beloved country Malaysia 🇲🇾 😊
Go to Jalan Alor night market area. The burger stall called Burger Boss station at the end of Jalan Alor... That's one of the best burger in town..
Thank you :)
actually the best spot is in the park itself. there's a bridge where you can get perfect shot with nothing blocking in between. the view is also much better with the lake behind you...
P.S. check out the food floor on the 6th or 7th floor of the shopping mall at the Petronas Towers. It has all the local favourites in one place and while the prices are a bit higher than elsewhere, it is still pretty cheap.
11:52 The car you have is exclusively for KTM Komuter train only, I recommend you to switch to a Touch n Go card, this card allows you to pay for ALL the train system in Kuala Lumpur. You can even use it to pay highway toll and parking fee. You can get these card from LRT or MRT stations, or from Watson's.
You two are hilarious, down to earth, cute and kind. Hopefully run into you two someday, somewhere!
We are just exploring and simply having fun😜😁
Murtabak Manis as it is called in Indonesia...in Malaysia we call it Apam Balik...there are two version of apam balik..fluffy one @thick one or crispy @ thin one
enjoy your days in malaysia. there are many places to visit including putrajaya. Goverment administration city with a beautiful achitectural building
Thank you for your candid video. I'm so glad you had a fun time in our city. Safe travels and keep well x
There's a million things we love about KL, but the transit was not one of them. The public transportation is clean and nice, but the fact that there are three different companies with three different cards was just confusing. We just ended up taking Grabs for the 8 months we lived there. 😂
We used to have a Ramly Burger cart on the street of our old neighborhood! It definitely seems like more of a late night thing. 🌙
Get yourself a touch n go card and you'll no longer be confused
@@MAzlah-sl2xu it's good for the whole system? We will definitely buy one next time! We lived in Sri-Petaling before, so we didn't have any metro systems very close by, so Grab was always much easier. When we head back, we plan on living somewhere more "downtown"- so we will definitely be taking more public transport. 😁
@@wherearewe-yt can be used for all trains, buses, toll, parking and even for shopping so yeah its a good one to have
@@wherearewe-ytTouch and go card is for everything, including parking.☺️
That three different cards you mentioned above were abolished long time ago.. I think that was the time when you were in KL. But if you visit KL again you just need only ONE card to travel from one place to another. The card is called Touch n Go Card. You can switch train and bus using that card.
I believe Kuala Lumpur is the best city in South East Asia region
16:21 - The one you eat is the crispy version. Apam Balik original version is bold
Thank you for visiting my country
The home for Malaysian Malay, Malaysian Chinese, Malaysian Indian and Malaysian Sabah Sarawak
Enjoy your times!❤
Please come to visit Sabah and Sarawak in East Malaysia. It's a nice place to travel.
*Welcome to Malaysia truly Asia, good food, enjoyed, already try Cendol durian*
Just discovered your channel and I love this video! You made me smile and you're an adorable couple. All the best in your travels!
Hi guys, welcome to KL. . I suggest you visit KL tower rather then the petronas tower. as its an open view with no glasses or window unlike the petronas tower.❤
Greate review from you guys . Tq for visiting our country Malaysia ..
Beautiful koul alampur, Malaysia Nice tour video 🎉
Kuala Lumpur is commonly known as KL to local Malaysian. Kuala Lumpur got its name at the river of life near the independence square, kuala is estuary and lumpur is mud.
@@Yasin_Affandi Thank you very much for aleboration
@@s.venkateswarpatnaik2484You are welcome. No worries. 😀
I have to say u guys done very good homework 📚👍👍 subscribed
Hi guys. Welcome to Malaysia. I am intrigued by the perfect audio that you are using.
Hi guys, from klcc to pasar seni, change to mrt to Bukit Bintang. Buy a touch and go card for public transportations.

Thank you😁
Hi, loves your great videos.... Simple yet informative.... You are a great inspiration... Am starting my own & hope to be as successful as both of you... Take Care...
Beautiful Kuala Lumpur City, big like.
Brother and sister you must visit our Bangladesh. every foreigner said we have great hospitality and we have so many tourist places. so come and enjoy a lot❤🇧🇩
apam balik and martabak has nothing similar here in malaysia... maybe both in the pancake category, but they are different. I am malaysian, and my favorite street food is martabak. kuala lumpur offers a lot of content for youtubers... for example, nasi lemak at wanjo kampung baru, walk around merdeka square and river of life at night, batu cave, kl tower, street art, kl bird park, klcc park, KL botanical garden, and many more.... and places not far from Kuala Lumpur, such as Putera Jaya and Genting Highlands.
They're referring to the Indonesian martabak manis or terang bulan which is similar to our thick apam balik.
@@ohshankly yeah i know... they talk about it in other video, and I try to explain in the comments. but it seems like they don't read my comments. if they read and understand my comment, they will not equate martabak and apam balik.
i feel u, they just ignored your comments...they should try malaysian murtabak
People knows thai food and indonesian food, so when they came here they try to relate. Meaning they thought we eat fruits and vege only.
@@muhammad11ali11 indeed... They didnt even try it yet here... Apam balik more to sweet
welcome to malaysia ,enjoy !!!
Welcome to KL Malaysia 🇲🇾 guys enjoy you staying here.. so many attractions place to visit 🏖🧭🏞🌆🌇🕌 let's explore guys 😊
Hope both of u enjoyed Malaysia. Another point to take good photo of KLCC wld be @ Saloma Bridge (preferably @ night). Anyway, Lovely pics indeed captured @ just RM10 😄
Welcome to Malaysia guys!
What a beautiful city. Love to visit KL someday.
Fun video ❤
I laughed when Leanne asked Danny you want to try Durian. 😂. You guys use the second photo on Buddymoon merchandise. ❤
Mantapp! Selamat datang ke Kuala Lumpur 😁
14:35 the guy that waved...awww bless him
Hello Leanne
Both of you have amazing ways to explain such short sentences more accurately details
I think both of you born in such ways that everyone loves you ❤
I born in beautiful Sri Lanka and living in Canada. Thanks you for both giving us such great memories and of course shows us living with normal life❤❤❤❤❤❤
Miss Sri Lanka and hope we can visit Canada one day... its on the list😁
There's an underground lrt station near both towers. Lrt card can be use for rapid buses, monorail & ktmb commuter too. If you don't want to pay, just catch green electric bus or walk through the bridge from those towers directly to pavilion Bukit Bintang.
Malaysia will celebrate its 66th independence anniversary on 31 August 2023. This year's celebration was held at Dataran Putrajaya.
• i am watching from Melaka, Malaysia 🇲🇾🌺

😊 RamleyBurger is just a brand, basic burger most avialable in low streetside. Kampong Bharu have lots food stall
Nice info..
Welcome to Malaysia. To our international friends, pls get a Touch & Go to access all the different train system. It’s much more convenient like SG eazylink
In indonesia they call it murtabak manis, in malaysia we call it apambalik. In malaysia murtabak is something like bread with a curry with chicken or beef stuff in it. In indonesia they call both our martabak and apam balik( murtabak ). Thats why when you guys mention it similar to murtabak, they said " martabak is a different thing.
cool malaysia new york bintang city...✌️😁
Leanne's mischievous Shopping Smile from 8:15 onwards is delightful 🤗
She wants to shop to much🤣🤣
there are 2 types of Apam Balik, the crunchy ones (usually the size in the video) and the fluffy ones (normally bigger). Original fillings would be sugar, peanut chunks and sweet corn. The one you got replaces peanut chunks with wheat flakes called Nestum...
Go to KL Tower its fantastic view
Hey guys! I really enjoyed your race/challenge with Shev & Dev in Penang. Losing team had to eat durian was brilliant! Anyways, thanks to Shev & Dev, you have a new subscriber! So do keep your vlogs coming! In the meantime enjoy your stay in Malaysia. Take care and stay safe! Cheers!

Ramly Halal Mart Bandar Botanik (Ramley Burger) is the place located outside Kuala Lumpur. Not all burger stalls along the street in the city center selling Ramley Burger . This iconic place in Bandar Botanik is the best place for you guys to try maybe not for now but your next visit to Malaysia.

Aww ramly stalls usually open during the night
Mertabak is savoury...apam balik is sweet cake...
There is free shuttle bus from KLCC to Bukit Bintang. 😊
So fast day to see new place
I hoped you will join Healy Mac's Irish bar and Restaurant next time. There has a lot of delicious foods and drinking for relieving your tiredness and sweating.Suprisingly that Bar has Special Promotion for beer and Cocktail until 7pm but don't worry they have Happy Hour for Beer until 9pm.The foods are so delicious and the price is deserved to spend.I really recommeded to Join Healymac's Irish Bar.The bar loctation is 12 Jalan P Ramlee Crown Regency Service Suite Under ground floor. There is also Outlet bar in Bukit Bintang...
Have a lovely time and stay safe❤
Wow mantap malaysia😮❤
Be careful with letting strangers handle your equipment. There are countless stories of tourists being robbed of their belongings while having their pictures taken using their own cameras. I just found your channel and am enjoying your enthusiasm and wonderful videos.
try to find burger boss at Jalan Alor. They used Ramly patty.
Another wonderful amazing beautiful vlog mam love to see your vlog from Pakistan 🙂. Best regards from Pakistan 🙂.
