It depends on the individual. Some people like the bali vibe. I love it. Others like Thai vibe and i love bkk too. But kl has its charm - it definitely has what bali n bkk dont hv but it also does not have what those places have. That is true. Not too long ago tho an aussie couple came here and did not like kl or msia . I totally get it and respect their views on my country but what i dont appreciate is their condescending attitude n remarks abt my country. It seems that just bcos kl or msia do not hv the typical vibe of an underdeveloped country like certain places in South east asia ( the typical poor road, chaotic traffic, run down countrified houses or economically backward society do not give them a haughty air of superiority. If u want to party all nite long high on weeds or alcohol or njoy sex everywhere or laze half naked at beach places then Msia is certainly not for u. Hehe. We Msians do hv fun n do party but visitors hv to remember this is a Muslim country after all. But that being said alcohol is available n u can drink it unlike what a particular taxi driver said in a video of a visitor to Msia not too long ago. I wonder what happens to this Msian taxi driver. He seems to hate living in Msia as he said he could not njoy here. Msia is by no means perfect but as i said to each his own. If u prefer the family vibe or the rainforest yeah u can njoy it here. U can still party here n hv fun as a single or as a family but seriously if the bali /bkk/ phuket is up ur alley then u will njoy it better there. ❤ frm a Malaysian n if anyone njoy our country good. If not its ok. Everyone is welcome. Malaysia truly Asia.
