This is hands down the worst officiating I’ve ever seen in a sports game, and if you don’t believe me, the AHL is going to perform an investigation into all the referees at the conclusion of the season. There is clearly something wrong here. As for the Ads, hell of a season guys, we never gave up, and overcame tons of adversity these playoffs, from being down 2-0 to the Stars and the Griffins almost eliminating us. At the end of the day, the Firebirds were a great team (and also super dirty yikes). But this officiating has gotten way too bad for me to ignore it, get em next year Ads.
The refs got a lot of heat for this game, but they were legit calls. Turns out punching someone in the face is a penalty. Blame the coach for having zero control over the team.
@@FlexibleToastI think you could make a case for some of them being legit, but especially that first penalty, the 17 for the Firebirds must’ve worked for Hollywood at some point because he put a hell of a show, enough for the refs to say yeah let’s penalize the guy 8 fucking seconds into the game.
@blastonightfb77ryan86 just one call didn't lose the game. It was the consistent dumb penalties that lost the game. L'Heureux was the MVP for the Firebirds, giving them an early easy 2 goals. Don't blame the refs for the players taking stupid penalties.
@@FlexibleToastAlthough I’ll agree that Zack did have some legitimate penalties, it seemed like the refs at times had it out for him, part of me thinks you have a Firebirds jersey on but I’m not gonna waste my time with that, you have your opinion and I have mine, you won’t change mine.

Beach was awful all playoffs
