I recommend you to watch 'All my love is for you' and 'divine' they're all Japanese song and it's so great.. Oo, and don't forget to react 'in to the new world' concert version.. Their harmonies soo amazing

I suspect it was their schedules. Yoona's schedule is mad crazy as is Taeyeons. Finding time for the song was challenge enough.

It was put together in a rush. It was originally Yuri's solo debut song so even seems like a last minute change and decision

I will say TTS is one of the very successful sub-unit. Their vocals and songs are really on point. Oh-GG was doing good too but the song wasn’t even planned to promote on any music show or live performance, so the song didn’t even have a full choreography, only the chorus part😂

Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Kai, and Sehun all appeared in the Twinkle music video because they were debuting soon after TTS’ sub-unit debut. Soon-to-debut or newly-debuted SM used to appear a lot in their seniors’ music videos back in the day.
*When you combine group, subunits, and solos altogether, it is very easy to see why SNSD are the true titans of music in kpop. It is almost as if you can randomly mix any member together and another winning subunit can be easily formed. I doubt we can ever find another group like SNSD in a hundred years.*

Lil Touch Was definitely the moment when Queen Yuri became My Bias Wrecker in SNSD because her voice and presence as a performer and vocalist stood out to me immediately

It's a shame that SM didn't promote Oh!GG and Lil' Touch, not even an album. I think it was an attempt by SM to gauge interest in a subunit from a 10 year girl group. There was no precedent for this kind of thing at the time, but IIRC the song charted extremely well, better than their 10-year anniversary singles.
I believe OhGG was only damage control project. The girls or sm really had no intention to dive deeper with it. But Sones were freaking out when the 3 didn't resign and I'm actually glad sm did that to shut them up (for lack of better word). Lol.
This deep dive into SNSD has been the best thing that's happened to me so far this 2024. Thank you for the effort putting these reactions out 💖

imagine having a sub unit with 2 strong vocalist and a 3 sub vocalist who can outsang some of the idol nowadays and 2 best dancers (the dancing queen of kpop and the lead dancer yoona) and having the korean beauty standard (Yoona) with fulls of visual. as well the 5 of them can rap, an all rounder sub unit indeed.
Don’t even get me started on TTS vocals…

I'm still dreaming about the S.H.Y. (Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, and Yuri) subunit that SM robbed us from. We got one concert performance of them but an actual debut/mv would have been amazing
Lil Touch was supposed to be Yuri's debut solo song but they ended up using Into You instead because this one sounds more like a girl group song.
TTS caught most fans completely off guard when they came out. They seemed to catch SM off guard as well, as it was far more successful than they had planned. EXO was just about to debut when TTS debuted, not to mention Taeyeon's BF Baekyeon. The song at the end of Twinkle is one of my favorites off their album, "Goodbye, Hello". There is a performance video of it worth watching, though it's shortened. The whole TTS catalog is quite good really. I hope you check out more.

Hi guys! The 5 girls in Lil Touch, were what remained after the other 3 girls left GG. I was all weepy, missing the other members. This was the end of Girls Generation and I was depressed. This song is great! I love it!

Fun fact: Oh!GG is wordplay. 오 [oh] which is five in Korean and 오지다 [ojida] which means awesome/superbe. So in Korean SNSD Oh!GG basically sounds like “SNSD is great”.

Ohgg is one of the biggest wasted opportunities. Lil touch and the bside fermate are both great songs. I love the chemistry between the 5 girls. Also gives sunny the chance to be a co main singer with all the other girls getting more screen time and lines. Yet they never did anything with it. No live stages no second track 😭

TTS (TaeTiSeo)'s two songs were sung live on the Korean TV show 'Sketchbook' and were highly evaluated! Both are amazing! In addition, each of the three members has left a famous cover with the costumes they wore in the scene with the band in the music video 'Twinkle'. Taeyeon performed Rihanna's 'Take A Bow', Tiffany performed Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep', Seohyun performed Pixie Lott's 'Jack', and the three of them performed Destiny Child's 'Cater 2 U', all of which were amazing. ! Altho tts wasnt the first kpop subunit, they were the first very successful subunit that specifically focusing on vocal with minimum dance chareo that forever change kpop. I'm guessing you'd be skipping some members like Taeyeon and probably Hyo's (if you've already reacted to it) but highly recommend checking out Tiffany's, Seohyun's and Yuri's solo debuts. Tiffany's Korean debut (I Just Wanna Dance) and also her English singles and collabs (Lips On Lips, Teach You, Magnetic Moon, Runaway),for Seohyun (Don't Say No) then for Yuri, 'Into You' MV and 'Illusion' stages
