They should’ve gone with that word, TBH. It reminds me of the “I know you want this party, come take a picture” lyrics in Hyoyeon’s Picture. I’m pretty sure the original lyrics should be “I know you want this body, come take a picture” but they somehow toned it down.

Fun Fact:
The date in the Lion Heart MV signifies their debut date, August 5 (08.05) and their ages when they debuted (17-19 years old = 1719).
Taeyeon and the rest of the '89 liners debuted when they were 19, Sooyoung and Yoona when they were 18, and Seohyun when she was 17.
Also, Lion Heart as a title is a play of word for Lyin' Heart.

The fact that all 4 music videos here were released in 2015, made me miss that era. Sones were showered with comebacks and music releases and reality shows from them.
Fun fact: Catch Me If You Can has an unofficial version with Jessica in it (no intro and cuts near the ending) They were going to show it at their Tokyo Dome Concert, but due to "events" they re-did the song without her

Fun fact: SNSD didn’t perform Catch me if you can live much because according to Taeyeon ( on Begin Again) the choreo was so tough and physical that they tasted blood whenever they danced to it. 😅
seohyun has a flexible vocal, she can sing well in deep notes also on high notes.

I think the 17-19 thing is a bit of both their ages and the release date. Those clever SM folks you know, but the official release date of Lion Heart was the 18th, with You Think the next day.

Catch me If You Can was their first comeback after Jessica "left" and it hit SO hard, cause it had to. I got to see them at KCON New York in 2015 and when they opened with this it was f-ing epic!

This is an revised version of the MV; when originally posted, it included a move in the choreo that was deemed "too sexy" and had to be removed and reuploaded. At 22:06, Seohyun does the splits (which caused you to pause the first time around), then she rolls onto her back and sticks her legs up straight. There's a cut there now, but in the original, she _opened her legs_ as if doing the splits again before the camera cut away. Our maknae was adulting at full power here!
They also cut out Sunny doing a full on upskirt into the camera at the end of Lion Heart when they discovered the Lion sleeping with them. I was shocked that got by the censors.
It is funny when you keep commenting on how far they go down in their spread legs dance. I believe it was on Knowing Bros program where they explained it had to be done because Little Taeyeon was always next to a tall member so to make it look normal the tall one had to go down even further. I think it was during the Soo Young what i hate about my my members segment.
this is why they have to react to their appearances on those shows, these girls are so funny.
There's another clip of the members teasing the maknae about how far to "drop it" and them arguing over it. When tied to the lyric "I'm right here, right next to you", they are really trying to keep the guy's attention.
Sooyoung and Yuri also mentioned this on Yurihan TV that when they are next to kid leader, they practically need to crawl on the floor to match the height. Lol 😂
You guys ended up having the exact same reaction to Seohyun's spilt as SONEs lol I think there's even a compilation 😂 everyone was like "not the maknae!" "Maknae no!". A lovely surprise from our prim and proper seolady 😅

When Catch Me If You Can came out, it wasn't really promoted that well. Only started doing music shows months after release. It was originally supposed to be a Japan only release that was scrapped into a Korean version for reasons unknown. IIRC Taeyeon on Begin Again said they rarely performed it live because the choreo was very difficult
It was their first release on the heels of Jessica being ejected from the group. The uproar and division within the fan base was still very raw, and is contentious to this day. I was going to boycott SM entirely but _these three songs_ were so damn good, I partially forgave SM. I'm abidingly still angry at SM for Jessica and their utter neglect of f(x) -- BOTH Jung sisters done dirty! -- so I will NEVER EVER stan another SM group (this includes aespa), but I WILL support SNSD (OT8) and RV as long as they remain active, as well as Jessica's solo tracks.

But yes only Jessica’s farts smell like roses. The others let her say and do whatever in the media and never say a bad word. Why, you should ask - because they know Jessica has to have something in order to survive and stay relevant.

Kind of redundant, but she's also an incredible natural dancer. I've always thought SNSD owed their tight choreo / synchronicity to her being the center and always SO on point. That and years of training and practice.

SM always have vocal trio in their bigger group like Taeyeon, Jessica and Seohyun in Girl's Generation. Yesung, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun in Super Junior. Baekhyun, Chen and D.O in EXO. Taeil, Doyoung and Jaehyun in NCT 127.

I hope you guys will react to TTS (TaeTiSeo) as well! It's a sub-unit of Girls Generation including Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun and the title tracks are bops ("Twinkle", "Hollar", and "Dear Santa"). Could also include another sub-unit, Oh!GG which only has one title track ("Lil' Touch") and five members including Taeyeon, Sunny, Yuri, Yoona and Hyoyeon.
The date featured all over Lion Heart is SNSD's Anniversary and also the release date. The wine Hyoyeon has was Lee Sooman's brand and the SUM store is SM's as well. It's one big product placement. If you stop and look at the Lion's Date Book he has all the members and several other girls scheduled for the same date. When the girls "drop it" they are basically singing, hey, look at me instead of elsewhere. The "chapters" on each segment like "Fire Alarm" are all titles of the other songs on the album.

Thank you for reacting to SNSD songs. It's so nice to see that people are still enjoying a Gen 2 kpop grp in this era. SNSD's discography have always been top tier and my faves happened to be their albums released from 2015 onwards namely Lion Heart, Holiday Night & Forever 1. The songs in these albums are so diverse and vocally the girls sounded so good together as always. Really hope that they can come out with another album and a TTS comeback b4 their 20th anniversary 😁😁

Catch Me If You Can is what brought me back to regular kpop listening back in 2015, so it holds a very special place in my heart. Plus, you know, everyone looks downright amazing, and it hits on every freakin' level!
I just love seeing you ladies deep dive into Girls Generation. They will always be the most iconic Kpop girl group...the gold standard by which every traditional girl group is held to. Both vocally and visually, there is nobody even close. My discovery of them in 2011 from a random TH-cam suggestion of their song "The Boys" started a love affair that with them that will never end. I remember spending whole weekends searching and watching any video I could find of them, especially variety shows. I was so mesmerized by them. When they came to New York and went on Late Night TV, I cried like a little schoolgirl. From my computer monitor to an actual performance in the US was almost more than I could take. I was going through a rough spot in life at that time, and these girls were the only thing that brought me any happiness. They always outwardly showed a purity, joy and happiness that I was just not seeing in the world around me. I will always love them.
I stumbled into KPOP and SNSD a month after The Boys came out and I've been down that rabbit hole ever since. Every group, show, and anything else related is all because of them. Yes, watching them back to back on Letterman and Kelly the next morning in the USA was daebak!
Yoona in Catch Me If You Can Era is CRAZY. Dancing has always been very serious for her like girl be eating SNSD choreography every era with that clean and precise dance line of hers but in CMIYC it's like her strong points as a dancer are highlighted so much more. I really think she is the reason that makes SNSD performance appear more unified (despite the big differences in each member's dance line). Whenever she is dancing at the center, the performance suddenly looks cleaner to me it's crazy. The consistency of her performance through all these years alone is astonishing. The perfect center PERIOD
The plot for the Lion Heart MV is actually an inside joke sort of, cause the plot for I Got A Boy MV is the same thing, the same guy takes all of them out on separate dates throughout the same day, so that's what the journal with all the times in it is a reference to in Lion Heart. They're making fun of themselves essentially by having them actually figure out they're all dating the same guy this time.

Dancers : CMIYC choreo is one of the most difficult choreos
The fifth studio album came out in two versions, one entitled "Lion Heart version" and the other "You think version". In that album, whatever the version, you will find the two title track and Party 😄. This was his first album with 8 members, because Jessica had already been removed from the group.
The drop in Lionheart is powerful . I know Sooyoung complained on various variety shows that because some of the members are shorties that she had to drop way down low so that the height was level .
ROFL I just noticed at the ending of CMIYC that they had the shortest and tallest member kneeling for the welfare of the group height average

They had a double release with “Party”. The other song was “Check” but it didn’t get a MV, but they performed the live stages at all the music shows for it. Just like “Lion Heart” was the poppy song and “You Think” was a more rnb-ish song. “Check” is a banger that a lot of folks miss. Gotta check that one out.
