S♡NE! Nice to meet you haha. It's much overdue, but it's finally time to begin our SNSD journey. I am familiar with their work, but anything before 2016 I have not heard, and if I have, I haven't seen the music videos or dances, or...really anything. Sit back, and enjoy re-discovering Girls' Generation vicariously through my first experience learning about them! And, yes. The debut stage reaction was blocked, but is available on our Patreon, along with over 500 exclusive reactions. www.patreon.com/seatinreacts
The last one was very emotional because Jessica wasn't there. It is only been just, few days if I'm not mistaken, after the official announcement from SM that Jessica had to leave SNSD/GG. And it is hurt many people, fans, member itself because the concert were scheduled way back then. And it's concert is in tokyo dome, like the biggest one in Japan, and they should be invited to perform there. And it is the girls dream to perform there. And Jessica should have been perform with them together, along with the 8 member. Her costume were prepared, but she is not there. You can see how hurt the member is, esp sunny, and hyo. And Taeyeon didn't even oper her eyes while singing, she just kept singing.
*It is a pity that most of the newer gen 3 and gen 4 kpop fans only heard a few of SNSD's main title tracks but one of SNSD's greatest pillars rests in their mastery of ballads, which are much more difficult because clarity and control are so crucial in their deliveries. That's why so many kpop industry insiders respect SNSD so much - their vocal prowess, especially when combined, is spectacular.*
It's really interesting that you mention the bond they share....... because before the whole Jessica thing happened, one of the biggest reasons why GG had such a massive female following was because of what was popularly known as 'Soshibond.'
The very last performance is from their 2014 concert in Japan and was the first without Jessica. It was also the very first time they performed ITNW as a ballad (in the years since I believe they have only done the song in ballad form except for one time.) If you get a chance, watch the entire version - you can see how tough it was emotionally for the members, especially Sunny and Hyo. Btw, this was the last number of the concert - but they then had to come out and do a rather lengthy encore
Thank you the reaction video of Girls' Generation! I'm very happy that you listened carefully to Girls' Generation's music. In the case of Girls' Generation, you can understand how great they are by not only watching their music videos but also watching their live performances. I think it's quite difficult to do these days, but I think it would be even better if I could see them live. Every Girls' Generation live performance is sure to be exciting and moving, so please come and see it. If you post a reaction video, I'll definitely watch it! Also, because you are a dancer, please check out the video for 'Into The New World (remix version) rehersal'. These young girls perform explosive dance moves and you can see how strong their trunk is !
I'm so glad I didn't put on makeup yet because I was crying during half of this video. Thank you so much for reacting to this, Sean! And I'd love to see you react more to SNSD
Thank you for SNSD Reaction!!! I've loved them since around 2010 so I'm excited for their Reaction! I recommend you : I Got A Boy / The Boys / Oh! / Holiday / Mr. taxi / Run Devil Run / etc Their Japanese songs: Paparazzi / Flower Power / Galaxy Supernova / etc I'm looking forward to your reacting them more from now on! 😆🥺 Thank you!!!🤭🔥💕
Thanks for the reaction. Every time I hear this song I just can’t control myself emotionally. It’s so nostalgic, and beautiful. And I see ppl suggesting the full ballad version performance at Tokyo Dome. Really worth it. Heartbreaking.
into the new world last stage in the video,, there was a story behind that Jessica depart from the group before the concert in tokyo dome (biggest scale of their entire group activity) around one month with not clear reason and no one in the group say about it.
@@soshigirliiz SM's statement was pretty clear. Jessica wasn't doing her job to either SM's or the rest of SNSD's satisfaction. And Jessica herself admits in her own statement that's why she got fired. Jessica SAID that she was actually doing her job. But if she actually was, she wouldn't have gotten fired. It still amazes me that even nearly 10 years later, people still want to act like there was any mystery at all to the most publicized break-up in the history of Kpop.
@@riffgroove True. Fans should've brought the beef between sm and how they handled snsd but it turned into a jessica vs other 8 fiasco thanks to her reactive weibo post 😂 it took all the heat off sm and turned into a witch hunt.. but I'm glad it happened that way 'cause SNSD wouldn't last and release a successful 15th anniv album if the divide was more than 1vs 8.
@8milk Yeah, that was the part that really annoyed me. Jessica throwing the other 8 members of the group under the bus for something that *she* obviously caused. It always gives me a headache when International Kpop stans say, "You weren't there! You don't know what happened!" While this is true, I most definitely wasn't there. There is a verifiable laundry list of people who WERE there, and that knew every last gory detail of what exactly went down. Those people are, the other 8 members of SNSD, their individual drivers and assistants, their stylists, choreographers, and vocal coaches, their individual managers, the group managers at SM,the board of directors, the shareholders, and ( more than likely ) Lee Soo Man himself who personally groomed Jessica. And after much debate, every one of those people came to the same conclusion... namely, that Jessica had become a liability and had to go. Who are we to second-guess them? I certainly trust their opinion way more than I trust International randoms on the internet who don't even speak Korean.
I used to love snsd a lot back in the days. "Into the new world" is my all time favourite from them. Maybe because i left kpop for several years and i kinda stop listenning to them. 😓
Hey my good friend Sean ❤! How are you? 🤗 🍀 You are UNSTOPPABLE , in the last 2 weeks! 😋❤ The total RANGE of KPOPmusic is passing by in M/V's and Dance practices !! 🤣 🍀 You are going to break a *YOU TUBE - RECORD in quantity and time* and ALL THIS, in the - to us - so familiar and distinctive quality!❤ 🏆 Thanks again 🤗 Take care! ✌ And take your REST - and stay safe & especially HEALTHY ❤🌷 JOERI 🇳🇱
First, i will mention that for a while at first i hated SNSD not because of the group or the girls but because SM give up on my favorite group The Grace at the time to focus debuting and give everything to SNSD. That being said i slowly started to like SNSD when i saw them of variety show and saw how funny they were and i started to listen to more of their songs and i slowly became a Sone with the years. For me tough as i have known them as OT9, i was very sad and a little upset with the departure of Jessica, so i stopped following them for a while. Today in 2024 i will say that i still like SNSD but more as a casual Sone and in my heart i will always prefer the OT9 SNSD to OT8 SNSD and but i'm always happy when they release new songs as SNSD. Oh, and if you are curious my bias in the group is Sunny.

They're the best thing that ever happened in kpop .. once in a life time group ❤
SNSD ballad songs are top tier ✨🩷

Snsd top tier vocalists ! All of them are just OMG ! never get bored of this video 😂❤😢
GG is truly the legend, they introduced me to Kpop, paved the way to 3rd and 4th gen, and still slayed after 15 years

In 2022 they perform ITNW in their fan concert
That's the one I was thinking of - although I wonder if they did the full choreo (which they hadn't done since Jessica left)@@nicoadiwijaya5813
The best part of the emotional singing video is they did montage edit of performances with & without Jessica. 😢
그녀들은 그냥 전설이야. They're just legends.

Ty so much. SNSD, Queens of harmonies, inspiration of so many young girls! 💖 Love GG4eva💖.
I got goosebump when the song was started… SNSD impacts extremely amazing! If you know what I’m saying
Regarding an SNSD deep-dive, I went down that rabbit hole years ago and haven't found my way out yet. My conclusion: Lee Soo-man was a GENIUS.
They will forever be THE queens 👑 You should check out some other SNSD songs their whole discography (Korean & Japanese) is so good 🤞
Thank you for SNSD Reaction!!!
