It wasn't a buff it was a rework. Sombre when she goes invisible goes a little slower than before and her translocator can be destroyed.

As a part time spy main in tf2 I understand sombra as much,maybe even more than macro so listen to these tips:
1:remember your invisibility lasts forever and gives you a speed boost so you could use it to get to the battle faster and camp enemy spawn to kill their healers right off the bat
2:targets have priority like kill supports first, tanks second and damage last. Of course this changes constantly but in the early game if your playing sombra just target the supports
3:your invisibility has a cooldown so don’t use it when the target is right next to a tank unless of course you have your translocator out so always remember to put that thing down right out of spawn

Sombra can be weak to Moira and Winston and other heroes that can do consistent damage, because she can only shoot or translocate while being damaged.

You mean she can only hack and turn invisible while not taking damage?
Basically what he is saying is that Sombra’s stealth and hack ability can be disrupted by taking even the slightest bit of damage. That is why she can only shoot at enemies or translocate without being disrupted by taking damage from enemies and why Winston, Moira, and other heroes who deals consistent damage can be a counter to Sombra.
The team is going to have to add some *major changes* to sombera

Sombra's gun isn't very weak. It's a good way to melt enemies up close, so if your team is useless, you can go to the enemy's backline and demolish one target at a time

I had been staying at a friends house for the night and I had never played Overwatch, so my friend decided to show me and let me try it. He asked me which character I wanted and I didn’t know what was good so I just selected the most appealing, and selected Sombra. My friend didn’t want me to because he said she wasn’t very good, and then 30 mins later we were getting 20 kills per game with her

Sombra has the best highlight inrtro in the world, to the point my friend throught it was a bug. But it's hella hard to get potg with her.
Also, dear new Sombra players, you can use transolocator when invisible, but enemies will see a purple thing, so they will know that you're here. I know it.
Also again, a very good thing to do as Sombra is to catch (if possible, because it's hard) that annoying Tracer. Without her blinks and recall she's just sad and easy to kill.
