I never appreciated my mother more until I myself became a mother with my first child, after about 6 months of realizing what it actually takes to be a mother. I thought back on all the work she put in with 8 children for many years, I wrote her a letter of appreciation and thanks.
When you're a parent it is so true that you here the same things your parents said to you. My personal favorite is "Because I said so" my dad's most used line. I did change it up though I once said to my son when he was 5 or 6 "Because I said so" and he said "But why?" I replied with a straight face and said to him "Because I've been waiting for 26 years to be able to say that."
I think everyone should record their mom like this have a friend interview them I would have love watching this everyday just remember my mom who passed away 1 year ago...I miss her so much ..when you guys have a good mom nothing can replace the emptiness when they are gone
