I would not take anything for being raised in the 50's and 60's. People make fun of me now for listening to this music. i really don't care what they think. This is the best music ever. I love all doo wop.
We are all all lucky to have this video. 2 of the best. No yelling or screaming - both singing effortlessly. The band is playing such pretty chords and not loud at all. Performed just like it should be - total pros!!!
I met Johnny Maestro. We sent a bottle of champagne to the group after their wonderful performance and he came out to join us at our table. He was one heck of a nice guy, gracious, soft-spoken and open. I surely hope the Good Lord allows him to entertain the Angels with that wonderful voice
Two guys from Brooklyn, who were the BEST in the business. What voices. Thankfully, both were friends. RIP Johnny, keep going Kenny...keep making the music....

What a beautiful and raw performance this is, Two iconic artist. One amazing vocal performance. This is so well sung that it sounds like there are backup singers. I have always felt that Johnny's voice is angelic. A true instrument. If you remember back in 1968 - 1969 when The Brooklyn Bridge was formed. It was a very large band. Johnny's voice was so powerful that he always stood out in front of any artist of that time. At least in my mind, I was 13 years old when that marvelous self titled LP "The Brooklyn Bridge" was released. "Free As The Wind" Johnny...
Yes tomsmusicforallofyou I surely remember.....My favorite from Johnny was 16 candles when he was still with the /crest.....My 1st 45 record.....cost me a quarter....25 cents.......in 1960.....when I got my 1st job.......My favorite song from Johnny when he went to the Brooklyn Bridge was....... "The Worst That Could Happen" Fantastic song....... Loved this guy from the beginning of his career.....Until the end...... I was 11 when Johnny started with the Crest........Cynthia's Channel....... Two of the best right here on this version of the Everly Brothers... from 1960.......
I so miss those days. we had such great singers and rock groups. 60.s Forever. Never forget. Going Steady "KRUZEING" and playing the HI-FI-In my Street Rod. Where did the time go MEMORIES FOREVER Bobby ~!~

Sadly, I've just found out Johnn Maestro passed. I'm so shocked. He was always there, in fine voice and just seemed like he always would be. Damn. Kenny is a good friend of a good friend. I met him once as we sat in my friend's basement studio and just BS'd like regular folk. No music talk except mentioning that the 60's were a wild time and I sat in awe knowing where he'd been, who he is and who he'd met. And he made ME feel like the important guy. Class! Really great voice too!
God. Without question one of the best things I've ever seen or heard. I am in love with Johnny's voice. I'm so thankful that I was able to meet him once.
Now this is what my heaven is going to sound like..such angelic voices all day long, forever and forever. So, so sweet! Thank you Kenny Vance and Johnny Maestro.
Nothing compares to the Everly Brothers version of this classic, but this is a worthy contender for second place. Johnny Maestro is one of the most underappreciated voices in pop music history, and Kenny Vance does a fine job here.
I would not take anything for being raised in the 50's and 60's. People make fun of me now for listening to this music.
i really don't care what they think. This is the best music ever. I love all doo wop.

Definitely the Everly Brothers is the best Jerry Butler and Betty Everetts version is fantastic.
This performance is not meant to be compared to other Artists doing it or the original. It’s just 2 legends singing a beautiful song!
