This build is a fail. I'll tell you where you fuk'd up...DS18 Line Output Converter not "in line converter" as you called it . Those Mopar factory radio are ass. They limit the frequency range on those stock radios so they don't blow they shitty factory speakers and a $70 DS18 LOC does NOT restore those frequencies! You're just sending that same limited factory signal to the rest of the system. The digital bass enhancer on that LOC doesn't restore bass frequencies that the radio doesn't have to begin with so there's nothing to "enhance". You need something like a JL Audio Fix DSP or AudioControl DM 810 that'll remove the factory sound processing altogether. Don't take my word for it...ask somebody else that really knows what they're doing.
Whoa..... I ain't gonna lie Bro.... I seen your videos before and was like.... Oh another install vid.... But I took my time to see that rear dash and you really aren't just another installer..... You get down Bro... Real talk 💯.... I'll be following now..... The details are everything Bro..... The Lil things... 👊🏽
2002 lexus ls430. Got a single RF T1 12 subwoofer on a kicker cxa1200.1 amp. Stock 130amp alternator Big 4 upgrade, all 0 gauge ofc wires. Yellow top optima under the hood xs power d925 battery in the trunk. Love my single sub setup. Slapping hard full tilt voltage stays around 13.4. 😊 midrange speakers are Timpano 6.5 on factory lexus amplifier. Still loud n crisp 👌 tons of sound deadening. Barely any rattling.
89 CRX.. DD 9518 SC . 6.5 cubes at 31 hz . 20 inches per on the port.. currently using a jp 23 V2 . But 2 us amps 100hc and a Phoenix m44 for mids and highs 320 Js alt ready for install 🤘.. tons of rattling still tho 😭.. need to damp it
My wife would cringe everytime I said I was going to that store! Owning a loud, high quality audio system is like owning a B.O.A.T, Bust Out Another Thousand!!
What do you mean you don't have the amps pumped all the way? The gain is to set the amp to the radio output voltage. Then not to blow anything you tune it either with a DSP or the radio.
@JasonWW2000 just making sure that he's not using the gain as a volume and it's set right. I know if it's not gain-matched it's okay as long as under but then you're just wasting a amp. If turned correctly then you have no issues turning up and jamming out.
@JasonWW2000 If you don't have it turned right and set right then you're not using the amp to its full potential. Why have a 10k amp and only run at 2k that's a waste.
There's not too much you can do on the amp. Just set your low pass around 60 to 80hz depending on what you think sounds best. You don't want vocals coming through the sub. Most people don't recommend using the bass boost.
@williejones8977 Thats your subsonic filter or infrasonic filter. It's really there to prevent your cone from overexcursion at really low frequencies. You have to decide if you need it or not. If the sub bottoms out on low bass you can turn it up a little to prevent that. But if you turn it up too much, you lose some low bass. So it all depends.
Theoretically, people say to set it 1/2 an octave below your boxes tuning. So that would be around 22hz in your case. Try it, see if it helps or hurts.

Bad ass fkn job bro Holly shit that thing is banging!!🔥🔥
Nice work bro.
Nice job big dawg!!
Looks/sounds amazing!!
What electrical mods were done to support all this?
Is the ds18 output converter better then the audio control converter
Are you getting a good full range signal? A lot of these newer vehicles roll off the low frequencies.

Can you build door panels for 2018 kia stinger gt2?
Live wire top dawgs😂😂🫡🫡🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿

He means he's got the gain setting lower than 0dB. Full volume on the headunit is not full volume on the amp. So he's limiting the amp power.

"Wasting a amp". That's a new one.

@@jgaudio69There's actually good, legit reasons to do that.
