Mr. Olmsted is a fascinating man and I encourage learning about his work. There's a documentary about him from PBS called: Fredrick Law Olmsted. One interesting fact is that at the end of his life he was living at a nursing home where he designed its landscaping. He lost almost all of his memories but while taking walks in the garden he would say "They didn't follow my designs correctly."

I’m going through all your stuff. Some of the best videos on NYC tourism and living. Most others I see from NYC are mostly personal vlogs- you’re stuff is very informative and will prepare me for my next visit (I just got back from 10 days in NYC but didn’t discover your Channel before).

@@UrbanCaffeine "Second visits are great cause you know what you're in for." This 100%. I also got most of tourist things out of the way and now I can focus on just taking it all in. I spent 10 days there about 2days in Brooklyn so 8 days Manhattan. I walked 15 miles on 2 different days and 10+ miles on 5 days just taking in the neighborhoods and stopping by tourist spots. I still felt I missed so much -- didn't spend anytime on lower east side or east village and missed a few sites in mid-town. Only got to see one play or event.
My next trip would probably include trip over to flushings to check out that Chinatown (I love Asian food) and just spend a day Queens, plus maybe a sporting event like Yankees in Bronx, and check out northern part of Central Park and Harlem.

79 St Transverse Rd has narrow sidewalk because some people who works at Fire Station building. Same for 86 St Transverse Rd to access police station. They have stop on M79/M86 SBS. It's not rarely use and SBS machines cannot be added because sidewalk is narrow. When fare inspectors come in, passengers have to tell "I boarded at fire or police station."

Also Horse Carraige drivers don't follow rules of road either. Horse Carriage drivers are require to follow NYC Traffic Rule.
Under new NYCDOT rule, horse carriages are only allowed to drop off/pickup at authorize hack line inside Central Park at Grand Army Plaza, 6th Av and 7th Av entrance, but they sometimes illegally pickup/drop off at CPW/79th St at American Museum of Natural History.
1- Horse carriage is not allowed to leave Central Park's hack line unless they're going to/from stable.
    2. Horse carriage is not allowed in Times Sq, or allowed to use 6th or 7th Avs, including 5th Av.
    3. Horse carriage traveling bet stables and Central Park must follow rule of road.
If you see horse carriage drivers in restricted area or breaking rules, take pic of HC licence plate, date/time and call 311 or alert any police officers NYPD or park police. Also tweet photo to NYCLASS. twitter.com/nyclass
Also horse carriage drivers make illegal U-turn on street, illegal left turn from eastbound 59th St to 6th Av entrance.
Also they tent to operate in restricted temperature 18+F/Below or 90+F/Above. When temperature reach these heat/freezewave, they not allow to give customers ride under NYPD Animal Cruelty and NYC Health Dept rule, including heavey weather like hurricane, blizzard.

Actually horse carriage drivers don't negotiate and if you look at old videos of WIN Animal Rights, they sometimes illegaly put taxes on Horse Carriage ride which carriage rides are not allowed to be tax. NYCDOT moved hack line inside Central Park at Grand Army Plaza, 6 Av and 7 Av, however some drivers are very greedy and pickup/drop off outside Central Park. Some drivers don't follow traffic laws when they come out from 4 stables in Hell's Kitchen and Lincoln Tunnel which are fire hazardous. If stables catch fire, horses wouldn't able to escape.
