UPDATE: Many people were saying their Keynote looks a little different than mine. The only change I have seen since December is in the Master Slides. These are now called Slide Layouts, but they are in the same location. Hope this helps!

I’m loving this tutorial but you lost me at master slide. For some reason my Keynote screen looks different than yours. I don’t have the color picker and I can’t find anything that says master slide. My whole layout is different. I am totally new at this so I just got this app on my computer. Can you direct me on what to do? My screen looks pretty generic compared to yours and I don’t know why. I am brand new to Apple anything. My son told me I needed an Ipad for notetaking (pursuing my doctorate). I wanted something like this with note pages inside because I am a very visual and organized person. After struggling with this tutorial a bit because my Keynote didn't match the video - I finally realized why! I was working on my Ipad. Once I realized I could open this on my desktop via Chrome - it's a whole new ball game! My keynote layout and options n the desktop now match what you see in the video! LOVING THIS.

I've been scratching my head for the past couple of days on how can I create a planner that I can sell on etsy. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I already have a macbook. So ive been looking for ways I can earn extra cash online. That's why I decided to start an etsy shop but I dont have the right tools to use not until I found this video.

I would be finished already but I am using Keynote on iCloud (on my windows laptop) and it doesn't give the option to "edit master slide". Hi Miss Money, thank you for this tutorial. It was easy to understand and follow. Unfortunately, like many others I have found that the iCloud Keynote I am using also is missing the master slide option and I cannot seem to make copies of the pages with already hyperlinked tabs. I've also tried this on my iPad and again, the master slide option or slide layouts is not an option. You can create more slides but it would appear you have to manually create links on every page of the planner. If there is a better way, feel free to let us know.

This was by far the BEST tutorial for making planners thank u so much. I have one problem tho I need help with. I need to add more pages if needed when the customer buys it. I’m using an iPad and I think ur on a computer. I don’t have an apt ion to copy page and paste page like u do in keynote. I can’t figure out how to be able to add more pages if I need to.

I’m unable to create a master slide… for some reason it says edit slide template instead of edit master slide.. how wld I fix this??
