UPDATE: Many people were saying their Keynote looks a little different than mine. The only change I have seen since December is in the Master Slides. These are now called Slide Layouts, but they are in the same location. Hope this helps!

I’m loving this tutorial but you lost me at master slide. For some reason my Keynote screen looks different than yours. I don’t have the color picker and I can’t find anything that says master slide. My whole layout is different. I am totally new at this so I just got this app on my computer. Can you direct me on what to do? My screen looks pretty generic compared to yours and I don’t know why. Hi Miss Money, thank you for this tutorial. It was easy to understand and follow. Unfortunately, like many others I have found that the iCloud Keynote I am using also is missing the master slide option and I cannot seem to make copies of the pages with already hyperlinked tabs. I've also tried this on my iPad and again, the master slide option or slide layouts is not an option. You can create more slides but it would appear you have to manually create links on every page of the planner. If there is a better way, feel free to let us know.

I’m using an older version that doesn’t have “master slides”. Can I still make this? Funny thing is I followed your tutorial yesterday and managed to make a dummy planner just for trial sake. Today I made the attempt once again, following every step and somehow I can’t seem to get it down. Since I can’t say edit master slide, I only edit the slide layout but then the links don’t show on all my 17 pages. Make a digital planner they said, it will help manage your time they said… I’ve spend 2 days making this and I can’t seem to figure out what the issue is. Please help. I love this way of planning and I want one.

So first I just want to say this tutorial is amazing. So far I've followed step by step with only one minor difference since I'm using Power Point. I'm stuck though and hoping you might be able to help me. On the linking part, i'm on the master slide and it shows that I have the tabs linked when i hover over. It states I have to press Ctrl + Click. I've tried doing that along with just clicking. Nothing happens. I'll try to add photos in this comment but not sure if it will let me.

Oh my. You are a wonderful Teacher. My issue unfortunately is i do not have a mac, apple products etc. I downloaded goodnotes on my laptop with doubles as a tablet. I use canva alot for my designing things but never have for a digital planner. Do you have a video on how to do this process using canva pro? 😊

If I use a free commercial font that I have downloaded to create my digital planner and want to sell this planner..will the font follow with the planner? Do they need to download the font? Quick question. What if you notice some time later that you don’t have enough pages. If you have to import a new pdf. You lose all your notes already mode
I’ve managed to follow your wonderful instructions for the most part , but the changed in keynote has made it difficult to follow the creating the master slide section. I know how to select all but not copy from that point and now I’m somewhat frustrated. Are you able to help or provide a resource? I’ve been googling some things prior to this section but the info on apple is somewhat vague. Thank you in advance.

I imported the file but for some reason its just showing up as regular pages in goodnotes 5 for me. All of the links I created are gone. Would someone explain what could have happened?
When you get to making the first page and copying everything then when you say go to Edit Master Slide and deselect everything, I don’t have a edit master slide tab, so what do I do?
Ok so I have watched your video over and over and I’m lost where I can go and click on the tab to make sure it’s going to the correct page. Im not sure what I’m missing in order to click on the tabs and it’ll take me to a page. It’s linked to the page where it’s supposed to go but nothing is happening when I click on it.

I love your tutorial. It's so clear and easy to follow. I am currently making my own digital planner following your video. I would be finished already but I am using Keynote on iCloud (on my windows laptop) and it doesn't give the option to "edit master slide". Hey. Loved the tutorial but the links doesn’t work for me in GoodNotes. They work in the pdf and everything, but not in GoodNotes. Any suggestions?
Make sure the pen option in the top right hand corner is off when you try to use the links
I will say love your video but my question is I was wondering. If I make my digital planner Can I send the pdf to family members and it won’t affect with my using the digital planner
Can you make me a custom journal that I cant find on etsy or anywhere... its really simple. I just want a place to keep my notes for all 43 of my college courses so when I graduate and they block my student access Ill at least have my notes. And upload a video of the process!!?
I’m curious about fonts..I haven’t seen this in any videos yet. If I use a free commercial font that I have downloaded to create my digital planner and want to sell this planner..will the font follow with the planner? Do they need to download the font? Couldn’t you give me more info please on fonts and digital planner creations..thank you!!!
Quick question. What if you notice some time later that you don’t have enough pages. If you have to import a new pdf. You lose all your notes already mode
I’ve managed to follow your wonderful instructions for the most part , but the changed in keynote has made it difficult to follow the creating the master slide section. I know how to select all but not copy from that point and now I’m somewhat frustrated. Are you able to help or provide a resource? I’ve been googling some things prior to this section but the info on apple is somewhat vague. Thank you in advance.

If you rotate your iPad to portrait mode when using GoodNotes. Will it change the Orientation accordingly?
i cant do this anymore, but i badly need a daily planner to keep track of a days notes. do you have a link for a daily planner. i have an ipad air 4 and im slowly migrating from actual notebooks to this digital planner thing. hope u could help me.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I imported the file but for some reason its just showing up as regular pages in goodnotes 5 for me. All of the links I created are gone. Would someone explain what could have happened?
I don’t have apple products. There is no Goodnotes for android. Can I still create digital planners?
When you get to making the first page and copying everything then when you say go to Edit Master Slide and deselect everything, I don’t have a edit master slide tab, so what do I do?

Ok so I have watched your video over and over and I’m lost where I can go and click on the tab to make sure it’s going to the correct page. Im not sure what I’m missing in order to click on the tabs and it’ll take me to a page. It’s linked to the page where it’s supposed to go but nothing is happening when I click on it.

i just spent 20 dollars on a digital planner which is a waste because I should had been patient follow each of these steps and made my own.So upset now!!!!!!
I love your tutorial. It's so clear and easy to follow. I am currently making my own digital planner following your video. I would be finished already but I am using Keynote on iCloud (on my windows laptop) and it doesn't give the option to "edit master slide". I'm sure there is a trick to it :) I can't wait to use it for my Student Teaching and then later in my classroom. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together. I need help! when you exported it to Goodnotes it still appears with a white border around it, does anyone have this same problem? :(
