I was honestly surprised when i heard this episode was one of the most controversial, like its not goku vs superman or ben vs hal but like it is surprisingly up there
So you guys are aware, I got an ad for a known eugenics group during your video. Idk if there are any settings you can adjust to make sure that never happens again but if you have any control over it it would be good to look into.
The battle track for this, I believe, was “Invidia” from Final Fantasy XV, which I think had a prominent demo around the time of this DB’s release. Credit where it’s due, it was a solid choice.
Both characters are kinda insane and specially Nate as killed more people then Indiana Jones ever did, but i had my funtimes with both series. Lara and Nate are characters who belongs into the 80's era of film making. aka 90's era of gameing.
Hm, pretty nice Death Battle, but if i remember correctly, most people think this could’ve been done better. By the way, how about doing Joker vs Sweet Tooth next, if you haven’t already?
I will admit this is where i started to fall off on death battle. Mainly because there reasoning was ridiculous. Idc if Lara does win but the luck runs out thing literally makes no sense when its quite literally apart of his character.
@kenshanparchman6838 Depends on the universe. Regardless their excuse was it can run out yet canonically that doesnt happen. His entire health mecanic is luck so the reasoning makes no sense. Whenever you get shot or hit in uncharted its simply shots that just barely hit you. And the final shot is the kill shot which means the player was unlucky enough to get near deathed so many times.
@@ngcwiz1755 You proved my point at the end of your sentence. It still *can* run out. Besides, luck doesn't always stop from him from getting beat by superior opponents, Nadine being the best example.
@@kenshanparchman6838yet in the story he hasn’t run out of it in his stories, only when the player fails so technically his luck doesn’t run out in his cannon story line, his luck only runs out because of the player then u reset like it never happened meaning drakes luck never really ran out
Sadly this is (in my opinion) the most disappointing episode in DB history. Not because I disagree with the outcome, I 100% agree Lara would win, but the fight itself and their explanation afterwards I did not like one bit.
That's how I feel about Red vs Tai. Greymon would absolutely win just on account of being that much stronger. The reasons they came up with for him winning, on the other hand, are absolute bullshit. They mischaracterized Pokémon as a FRANCHISE, fundamentally misunderstanding the entire premise, and attributed Greymon's win to somehow being strong against dragon types, even though Draymon Destroyer has never been demonstrated against anything that isn't also a Digimon. Assuming it would be super effective on other dragons is a MASSIVE leap.
I feel like Nathan would try to seduce Lara and she would b highly unimpressed, but just like Batman and Spider-Man, Dante and Bayonetta, I would pay good money for a game with both of them
I somewhat agree, although Lara and Nathan are both videogame treasure hunters, so I can understand why people would want to see them battle. Lara Croft vs. James Bond or Batman would probably be a more even fight.
They are two distinctly different franchises. Grew up with both Nate and Laura - Laura first actually. Only discovered my boy Nathan when Uncharted 4 had a collab release bundle with the PS4. Tomb Raider is where you go for action beyond action. The most supernatural Uncharted gets is zombies - which in themselves are scientifically feasible. Uncharted is a character driven story. As much as I love Laura Croft, she doesn't exactly go through any sort of character arc, at least speaking for the games on PS2. Moreover, Uncharted has a more iconic cast of characters that support its stories, something I never really got from Tomb Raider. Even in the reboot games, I found myself bored with her character compared to Nate. None of the snark, the sass, the genuine emotion that Nathan exhibited. We’re all are fans of both, but they definitely are two vastly different franchises with differing methods regarding expressing their characters.
@@goldenaries0860Nate also went up against Super Soldier like enemies and was able to fight off a small army while under the influence of a paranoid fear drug. But no one talks about those. Only the zombie ones. Which is more like the infected zombies than the supernatural type.

To this day I don’t understand how Lara Croft is the one who shoots the chalice off the podium and blames drake for it

The battle to decide who is the true successor to Indiana Jones'.
Lara is more like if Indiana if he was a comic book character (mainly).
