My 1998 k11 1.3i passed its MOT this week - no advisories. Last tank returned 52mpg on premium unleaded (or 11.02 miles/litre) giving range of 440 miles on a 40 litres. It's got 89,000 miles on the clock, and goes like new.
2018 and now my review Nissan micra k11 tempest . Having been with out a car for over a year i needed a cheap little car. ive always fixed my own cars and was looking for something cheap and reliable that i could also fix myself. i absolutely love this car . its cheap to run starts first time even at minus 5 i haven't done a single thing to it yet except a service. around town its great and very nippy and i find doing 70mph in 5th gear on the motorway it drives great. i plan to change the clutch myself this year cost me around £50 from e bay and i will have a great little car for years to come. what a great little car/
Hi 7 .7 .2020. I still have the car and it never lets me down, I've been buying up cheap car spares for the future. I got some great deals on car parts uk if anybody's after spares. you have to wait for a week's delivery but the savings are amazing if you like to fix your own car. I've noticed in the last year the micras are getting harder to find now. Take care Tony Leics Uk
5uper5kill3rz maintain her she is a good car two years ago I had a 1997. It was my first car I bought in 2008 for €1700. Now you can pick them up for €500-€1000
The K11 Micras were terrific cars. Hammond is a nobhead who knows nothing but biased propaganda. Micra = fantastic visibility compared to today's cars.
This sort of sneary misrepresentation of a great little reliable car is typical of motor journalists who normally drive supercars and detest having to drive these bread and butter cars. Chain cam engine, reliability, good mpg...whats not to like. Just check the front engine cross bar mount, cills and rear suspension/safety belt mount areas for corrosion on older models. As usual the body goes before a well serviced bulletproof engine.
I personally prefer the K11 preface, which was the one before the K11 in the video. I think the facelift K11 looks more cute than the older one. The big headlights of this one make it look as if it's overexcited or something and that plastic wavy bumper thing on the side is just plain tacky.
3:05 He really shits all over the Micra but in this video a 6 years earlier he says: 'I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Micras' th-cam.com/video/njC47oF5m_E/w-d-xo.html
The K11 was good but it was the k12 that really impressed with its decent chassis, snappy interior and refined engines. Its driving position and visibility was the best i have experienced .
I have the 1.3 3 doors version. Great car. Stupid kids from The Netherlands laughing at me when they drove me by on the autobahn in a fucking aygo, it stopped when i drove them by and kept the number 1 place. It has more power then some modern city eco cars. And it is purely Japanese with some Bosch parts. No fucking french technology!
everyone laughs at me and my Micra until I overtake 'em on the M25
i can relate so hard
Keep doing what you do
obviously the m25 is always jammed so....
Lol
I think that would make them laugh more
Great car had mine for 3 years , best car I've owned never let me down
Same. Got mine after a ban for a cheap insurance car. Said I'd keep for a year. That was 7 years ago. I drive 2002 K11 S. Great car

Best small car Nissan micra alongside Toyota Yaris! I owned many of the 2 above models!
I got this recommend in 2023 , i like it
Does this have power steering?
It has power steering
Most reliable car I've ever owned. Cruises nicely at 85 on motorway.
@@marksy99 I hope he means mph, because 85 kph is just to slow.

Did these cars come in deseil
There are 1.5 diesel versions yes, but the 1.3 or 1.4 petrol versions are vastly superior.
The K11 was good but it was the k12 that really impressed with its decent chassis, snappy interior and refined engines. Its driving position and visibility was the best i have experienced .
The paper bag returned for the MkIII Pink Convertible Micra!
Hi I Have 1996 model K11 good running no any err but i replace E C U its in sri lanka 100usd

The aygo is japanese through and through. It loses from the k11 in almost any aspect apart from suspension, age, and corrossion resistance.
Ищу мечту, в России их мало продают.
My cars not a fucking biscuit in 😂
Hammond talking crap again"" They are great little car's and the engine's are bullet proof,,
Only driven by old people ey?
Hammond looks about 15 year lol
