Don't take this as a diss or anything, I just always really wanted to ask a person that loves Curb your Enthusiasm: Why? Is it something that people grow up with, like comfort food? I feel like the whole world is doing one big in-joke and I'm just not getting it.
Mostly because we wish we could be larry. Just say it exactly how it is and call out people on their bullshit (not the best example in this clip though), and also because its sarcastic and mean (which is funny). It shows how people THINK rather than behave, and it is just the best to see that.@ambozz3726

The only problem is if you're out with other people they have to eat it too cuz your breath will stink. If you're all in the same boat, nobody notices. These particular fish? I can't comment, but bagel and lox is an easy favourite.

It’s funny because if you were to split that sandwich into two separate bagels with their own fish, cream cheese, capers and onion, you’d have just an average yet delicious breakfast.
Exactly. Open faced separated would be the way to go. The whitefish/sable combo is just too much or a salt bomb.

This made me hungry. And I'm not Jewish but I grew up in New York so this, pizza, and Chinese food is a thing. And Irish soda bread. And jerk chicken. And naan bread. And roti. Basically I have a lot of food I could hate. But I love them. And yhe women who cook them. And lets not forget my mom. The Colombians. Muerciegalo? It's a blood sausage. Bunuelos? Its a cheese fritter. Hot chocolate with cheese? Yeah that's a Colombian thing. Breakfast.

Thank you for posting. My great grandpa was a survivor. He told me stories of how the Nazis used this sandwich as a test to sniff out the undesirables. A trial would be held. A sandwich would be placed in front of the accused and if he ate it willingly he was a Jew and would be hauled off to the camps.
