I just started watching him recently because every time something caught my eye in the recommended it was one of his videos. He talks constantly and is so much louder than the game. But, it's not that big of a deal.
@@Dethmeister Oh I like him. It's just funny sometimes when he mentions something like a game should tell him how to do x, then the game addresses it and he doesn't notice.

Hm, I've played a really cool game on the Amiga 500 back in the day called 'Whale's Voyage'. It was an RPG / dungeon crawler about the crew of a spaceship named 'Whale', which also looked like a whale. A whale-ship that flies, in space. Best of all worlds. Also, a really nice name for a game like this, if you ask me. I remember that I immediately loved that ship and felt very attached to it right from the start and that I _really_ took it personal if someone damaged it. :D

Be aware of flying pigs, those things are terrifying, just think of all the promises.
@@magus104 hmmm...going to give this one..well I was thinking the crocodile simply for the range of its bite but if it can't do a death roll the shark would likely win.

Old disney movies were hidden gems until they become totaly lazy , copy cat and souless ... old movies too less streamlined in general

Edit: damn this was an entertaining vid, 1080 degree no scope missles, campy french voice acting, sky sailor songs, and of course the 10x wiggle waggle maneuver.
90% of the time I jump to Steam to wishlist a game while Splatt is still doing the intro and description, Splatt has cost my wallet heavily and kept my wishlist full
And he never takes a day off! Our man needs to take weekends off, at least.

Seems interesting. Surprisingly we don't see that many pirate naval battle games, and I'm down for the sky pirate variation. Reminds me of Sunless Sea, but with 90% less novel reading.

it would be cool if enemies tried to bail with the loot and were trying to hang on (with maybe some falling?). It makes sense, especially if the ship was going down anyway. then you could take them as hostages or crew.

I'm glad the English voice actors improvised their lines where necessary, because if you read the actual dialogue you'll see it's all kinds of broken.
An open world airship commerce piracy game has been on my list forever I’ll definitely be checking this out.

I always find it funny how so many Anglos don’t understand what Teutonic means and is and just put it in completely to our world unrelated games.

This looks really cool. But I think that it could be better if you could control the ships altitude. It could be a good way provide obstacles and limit the players mobility while in combat so that you aren't constantly flying in circles. It could also be a way to naturally limit where the player could go by having mountains that are too tall to fly over so they must travel through a ravine instead. Weight could be a good way to affect altitude as well, the heavier a ship is the lower its max altitude is and the slower it would be able to change altitude as well which would drastically affect how it can navigate around the world or fight other ships.
I swear, your narration of your gameplay is the best thing. I feel like it simultaneously raises and lowers my Intelligence Quotient. That's a good thing, by the way. XD
Some decent Sid Meiers Pirates vibes. Still looking for a successor to that game, but this seems good.
It's a shame we never really got any successors to that game.

One thing I do wish is that I like airships that fit a slightly more dieselpunk scenario where metal is the predominant construction material rather than the tall/wooden ship designs.

This game remembers me to the planet of the treasure game based on the movie in the early 2000's I had a lot of fun with that game.
Imagine the ship boarding sequence zooming in to then have you control troops to board the enemy ship

Somehow... this game reminds me of an old game which title slipped my mind:

The only thing I would change is boarding others ships and the combat when boarding should be like a Souls game…you’d get RTS, ships fighting, and killer hand to hand.

if one also could own towns and fortify them , and gear up and give 'general' directives and behaviour orders for other ships if having the resources to arm and staff more then your personal one...
this could be the one air world game i been looking for the last decades..

There's a game like this one that has been out for years that hardly anyone plays, not because it's bad, just because it's not known, it's called Guns of Icarus, and it's fucking amazing. In that game you play as crewmembers with other people, and every one has a role in the ship. engineer, gunner, pilot.. It's played in teams of 2,3,4 ships.
This has been in my wishlist for years. But I never got around to getting it. I'm not much into PvP online FPS games.

Those AIM-9s worked out well.
The art for this looks great! But I feel like the numbers are needlessly large if that makes sense? Doing damage in the 100s with HP bars of thousands. It just feels like numbers for numbers' sake.
