In India, the Monkies there went on a murder-spree of local dog populations in some areas by grabbing the pups and dropping them from high heights, with the intention being to end them. It makes sesne, people used to hunt Monkies, and thus Monkies have never gotten over the learned behaviours of distrusting dogs.

What's more amazing is that the dog can actually perceive different cuts pieced together as a logically sequenced scene, rather than random bits showing up that don't make sense.
It makes me wonder, what is he actually barking at? Does he realize the Gorilla is the hero rescuing the endangered woman? He seems to be reacting to the Gorilla as a frightening oversized humanoid, while he doesn't react to the Dinosaurs, as though he doesn't understand what they represent.
