If that's how one becomes a registered nurse in Cameroon, then I guess it's different from nursing in Ghana. Two months training and you become a registered nurse? Seriously?
My aim is not to downgrade Cameroon but to point out differences and areas for improvement. In Cameroon, some people with minimal training are called nurses, and some open pharmacies or drugstores without formal medical backgrounds, believing they have the right due to some experience. My goal is to highlight these issues and promote stricter protocols for better healthcare. Not only common in cameroon but also in Ghana, and most african country
