Pro Sreet Pepega lore: kuru is a misterious villain, the Top Gear guys are trying to hide fatal accidents, Nathan McKane is trying to use Ravenwest to buy the pepega street festival and then cheat whenever he wants and Ken Block is trying to resign so that it is no longer used by Monster Energy for marketing purposes only

I just finished Dirt 3 the other day and thought "man why wasn't gymkhana a thing in ProStreet? It would fit so well"
This isn't exactly that, but hey, Ken Block is in the mod
Honestly would have been really cool if ProStreet had Autocross/Gymkhana as a drift event, though one would need to build a car accordingly and still need to get the mode to work well with ProStreet's drift handling model.
Apparently PS also had tandem drifting, but it was restricted to multiplayer only and functioned the exact same as standard solo drifting. I think it could have still been a neat addition for the main campaign, but with some tweaks to keep it different.
@@ArbitraryOutcome Tbh with how PS is presented they could've done many things. For example, URL from Underground 2 but actually fun. The thing is barely legal, why not add like a separate campaign with the guys who didn't make it in the D Day event?

There's a lot of potential with the premise of street racers shifting to more legal racing, and it's sad it couldn't be explored because EA still demanded annual NFS releases at the time (as one may know by know, ProStreet, Undercover, and Skate 1 were all in development simultaneously, meaning Black Box got split into thirds to work on all of em).

Nick finally reunites with his cousin, Ryan. The 2 then have a final showdown with each other to see who can take the "Street King" crown after 15 years.

what intrigues me the most is Monster Energy because 1: it's a crossover with Dirt. 2: The pilot has no bad intentions and is trying to thwart the main sponsor's nefarious plans

I'm going to guess that Top Gear's tame racing driver, the Stig, is gonna be the Drag King in this mod? And I'm not sure whether KuruHS is supposed to be the Speed King or the Showdown King, though I'm guessing it's most likely the latter.
I'll be honest, I was expecting certain racing TH-camrs to be the Kings in this mod (such as Jimmy Broadbent or Super GT as Grip King, and SlapTrain as Drift King, for example), but these will do nicely.
He is the Speed King, but nobody knows what happened to the Showdown King after he left...

Edit: nope, my suspicion was wrong. It's the drag king events i think. And only 4 kings got shown. So who's the showdown king if ravenwest (grid) is the grip king. Ken block as the drift king. Bottom gear as the drag king. And finally Kuru as the speed king 🤔
