Great rabbit hoje to jump into. Watch " Mama told me not to come" next. They are fantastic performers. You can't go wrong. Joy to the world is another. I was blessed to grow up in the 60's and 70's.
They had song of the year in 1971, JOY TO THE WORLD! They had 21 top 40 songs in 6 years. 3 # 1s. They have 3 lead singers. All their songs are very different from each other. The 1975 Soundstage concert was spectacular. No auto tune, just pure talent. Great harmonies. They are in the Vocal Hall of Fame. Chuck Negron (on the left), has great range with his falsetto. Cory Wells (middle)with his sexy sultry voice and the richness of Danny Hutton (on the right). So good! You should dive into their long catalog. Their band was also very talented! Did you hear that piano! 🔥
When you saw them in '75, was Chuck Negron still a part of the group. I know in later years that the only original member was the man who started the group, Danny Hutton. Just curious.
Three Dog Night was Huge back in the 1970's just a hit producing factory. They have so many great songs: - Glad you listened to one of their songs. Hope you do some more reactions to them. You might enjoy their song, "Mama Told Me Not To Come" about an innocent guy going to a really wild party and is way over his head. BTW, I was a teen back in the 1970's and I think I have almost every album they made : ) It's good to know younger folks are still checking out their music...and often liking what they hear.
The one you pointed out is Danny and he's so fun. They have some incredible songs. Old Fashioned Love Song. Shambala. Never Been To Spain. Black And White. Joy To The World. One. Family Of Man.
I know you have the expression "two dog night". That means it's going to be COLD and two dogs huddle together to stay warm. Can you conceivably imagine what's coming if it's a THREE Dog Night. Give a listen to their album " Live at THE Forum" .
Great reaction, you should watch their live 1975 version that show cases all their voices even more. So many great songs to check out by Three Dog Night, Shambala is a great one, so is "mama told me not to come" Thanks for your reaction
Please just listen fully then talk. You are missing amazing music of my teen years. Wth?there was NO. Yes, NO AuTOTUNE 60s 70s especially live😂. This music was top tier variety. Music that will live forever . Now I days? Eh? Luke warm I my opinion . I,lived through the 60s 70s of stellar talent. Song writers performed their own music on stage and in recording studios and records cds etc. ( Carole King, James Taylor, Chicago pre death of Terry Kath) Lionel Ritchie, joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Gordon Lightfoot. Moody Blues, ElectricLight Orchestra, lara Fabian, etc etc
Three Dog Night recorded Eli's Comin in 1969. Love the old genuine groups w/their own talent, no artificial sound.
These guys were everywhere when I was in Jr/Sr High. One hit after another.

Saw them in 1975. So good. Then saw them a few years ago, less Cory (lead in this song) who passed a few years ago. Still great.

You like the old songs because they could sing. No autotunes. Wasn't even invented then. Just raw talent.

Never Been To Spain is a good next reaction for you.
Check out the 1975 video on Eli’s coming from them.
The dude on the white was singing. Maybe lose the dark glasses?
Actually, there's a better live performance of this one by them on YT. Much better than this one if you can find it, you might like it better.🙂
Great song. Terrible lip sync. Eli was a player
