Gran video.

This has got to be the road with the most consistent exit signage. While their small sizes give them the Polish problem (small signs that you see while rolling in fast) the consistency puts the highway into a higher standard on its own compared to other major Mexican highways.

That's right. Roads in the Yucatán peninsula are generally built and maintained to a very high standard and that also applies to sigage which is essential to tourism, the main economic activitt of the region.

@@RoadsofEuropeverreme "Gotta make the signs good so that the wealthy tourists don't suffer the same problems of our peasants" is what I got from your reply lol

      That is exactly the point.

Great drive and the chat! Why the M74 and A74(M) are used as one motorway simultaneously where as M1 and A1(M) motorways are separated in the UK? This is odd for me.

UK motorways are a mess. In Scotland, motorways are upgraded A roads and whether the road is labeled Ax(M) or Mx is a tossup. M74, A74(M) and M6 (!) are the same road, as M6 is the English number for the same motorway and Scotland hasn’t made up its mind.
In England, Mx-motorways are (generally) new build roads that have no original non-motorway road they would replace and Ax(M) motorways (generally) replace an original A road over some or all of its length. Hence A1(M) is a motorway-upgraded A1 road, and M1 is an original motorway. As always, there are exceptions.
