Good luck! Chasing different fish species is the most frustrating yet rewarding thing I’ve ever done as an angler. I’ve learned so much over the past few years and it’s made me a much better angler.
Man i love your content a ton. The hula popper is an original. Another great one is the jitterbug, but sadly they dont make the ones with the jointed bodies, which were way better than the one piece jitterbugs
i just bought a piscifun flame 2000 and i love it, next time i buy another reel i'll definitely help you out. Catching a bowfin would be fun as hell around here on topwater
Nice vid and some great catches. Your cameras produce really high quality results. Just one question, why would you use fluoro for your leader material when you are fishing topwater?
I get it. When the fishing is good, just go with what works. I've had experiences when fluoro sinks and messes up the action. Then I got straight braid.
Great video, professionally done. Loved the various camera shots. :)
I live near the Bark River, just bought a kayak, and started going for the species life list. Thanks for all the content!

Ive found that for some reason bowfin here in the south really like walking baits/ spooks. Especially with a few pops then some sit time
I might have to try that!
Definitely! Ive seen that its night and day on the size, they either eat small walking baits or big ones. Id love to see it though

I didn’t know there were jointed jitterbugs!

Yeah Bowfin! Great releases and everything is better in slow motion!
Except for going to the bathroom 🤣🤣🤣
@ 10:07, the bugs getting down. Thanks for another great vid.
Ha! I didn’t realize that

Pike and bowfin in that lake have snapped me off several times before in that lake on topwater. I know mono floats, but the fluoro is tougher

I just bought an assortment of these and wrapped them and put them in my kids stockings. I also wrapped one for my stocking. (The frog painted one)
Such a fun lure to use! Merry Christmas to all!
