Lovely caravan I removed a couple of the shelves in our top cupboards to store tall stuff I.e. cereal works a treat looks like a poor fitting of the mover controls would not be happy with that when we go off grid our Jackery is a brilliant piece of kit enjoy your new caravan happy days
Looks brilliant, we collect our Super FB in the next few days. For the shelves, I think it looks like they have little brown plastic fixings at each side? If so take a look and you might find if you squish them vertically, they'll unhook from the cupboard and once you've done all four per shelf, the shelf will come out for you. In terms of the motor mover, nope that's not good enough. The equipment will bounce and get damaged. More seriously the electrical cables could then come loose and spark when the power is on. Go right back to your dealer about that. If no joy, then consider Trading Standards or use tiewraps to secure it more firmly. Jiggling equipment isn't good. Anything like that must be secure. Happy caravaning!!
We wish you well with your van, I have a 2017 Twywell sport brought from the same dealer, first thing I would do is get rid of the awful Trauma pistol grip pump set up and go in your shop and pick up a Whale water master set up and stick a Whale external filter on the end(yours has an onboard pump like mine) ,you won’t regret it.
If going off grid with children using the shower etc I would take a second Aquaroll. Saves the hassle of getting water when it runs out at the inappropriate time which it will do !!!
Looks a lovely caravan same as ours but mine is single axle dealer special as far as the motor mover fittings it doesn’t look professional at all it needs to be secure and that looks like it can damage your air duct I would have put it under the front seats.
See if you get some organisers off of Amazon it’s like we can type juice they fit in your eyes have them summer house and they’re about the same size and I’m getting a caravan on a few days for a few weeks so I’ll get back to you on how you work and I got a van, but if you try them and they don’t work, then you send them back to Amazondone my house and I’ve got quite small cupboards
Hi a new subscriber, found you as I've been looking into 8ft wide caravans. How have you found it towing the new van. Have you been down any narrow country lanes?
Hi David, towing has not been a problem, we have tried to avoid narrow country lanes as much as possible, the entrance to Longleat Caravan Club is tight but we managed that without any issues!
The van looks great shame about the dangerous mover fitting. Assuming it was main dealer fitting can you name the supplying dealer so we can all learn from your experience and take appropriate action, Thanks Colin
Lovely caravan you have. I would be straight back to whoever fitted the mover, thats shocking and should have been done a lot better than that. Enjoy your caravan (nice to see you went with the swift).
Great caravan looks beautiful yes the motor movers could and should have been fitted in a professional way and fixed down and cables zip tied neatly other than that looks great
Hi, we’ve enjoyed watching your videos. We’re a family of 4 (2 young kids) thinking of a similar van to yourself, and are interested why you opted for the FB rather than DB version?
Hi new subscriber here. Lovely van you've got there as for the motor mover electrics they should of done a better job than that...they really need bolting down with all that shaking when towing which could result in wire problems...injoy your new van.

Nice caravan! We would love this layout for our next van

I have a swift elegance 570 with the pistol type connection what benifits will there be by changing and is it a DIY job? Thanks

Oh and 2 aquaroll. Always.

There's absolutely no way I would have accepted the van with the Mover Controlers not fitted securely that's just shoddy....was this by a main dealer?
@@BigWhiteBox I pick my new Bailey up on the 30/6 I will make sure I check the installation of the Quad mover after watching your vid
I think the wires should have been put back in a proper manner
Electric mover electric looks right bodge
Motor mover fitting. Absolutely shocking. Should definitely be secured. Your dealer should be ashamed. Other than that lovely van.
