I think this was the video I first saw, I think it was either to see a handover or might even have been because I googled having the black button off over winter storage to make sure there isn't a parasitic drain on the battery that the solar couldn't keep up with in the winter months of reduced daylight. My wife and I are of a similar age to yourselves and we too have done the all inc hols for years with the kids etc
As I write this we are enduring the Covid-19 lockdown and thinking that our holiday to Spain in May is almost definitely dead in the water and our holiday to Turkey in July is in the balance too
I have always fancied caravanning and I think now may be the right time to take the plunge as it will give us so much flexibility and there is so much to see in the UK

You can do what you want when you want, no timetable for lunch or dinner or getting up at stupid o’clock to claim a sunbed! Getting my Alpine 4 on Tuesday.....this vid helped to know what to expect....thought I just turned up, paid,hitched up and off !! Think I may video or sound record the handover....bound to forget something once I'm home. Hope they won't mind being recorded (the sales guys that is)

Nice outfit. Good to have a live handover, I struggled setting up the water in our swift on board tank, took several outings until I got to grips with it. We even recorded the hand over too 🤦🏻♂️ happy travels
Yep, know the feeling. Think its best for anyone with a new outfit to plan a short trip away locally to push the buttons and ring the bells to get fully acquainted with their new home.

We stayed 2 nights at a CAMC 5 minutes drive from where we lived, haven’t looked back since. We can’t wait for our next caravan adventure.

Hi in one of your videos you mentioned a storage solution I think it was from IKEA that you had bought for the cupboard under the sink. We have just bought a swift celebrate Super QFB. The space under the sink just seems to be a waste as its tall and narrow with no shelf. We just cant decide what to do with it to make it more usable. Thank you.
Hi Louise, The video you mention is Modifications & Updates On Our Swift Vogue 580 Caravan. The sliding shelf is called the Variera Pull Out Container from Ikea, available through their website. Sorry James, have never heard of this before, we doubt it would be available as the water pipe/pump normally fits in the top opening of the aquaroll/water barrel 🤔 Best wishes, Keith & Michele.

Hi Tom, Well done on your restoration 👍🏻 We keep all sorts under the front seat 😀 Cadac, spare quilt, washing line, sun parasol, windbreak.....and anything else that will fit 😆 Hope this helps.
