Whereas Ylvis consistently pronounce "Egeland" in an English-sounding way throughout the song, in the live clip you can hear not just how his last name would sound in Norwegian, but how it would sound like in the area where he is from.
They didn't ask Egeland for permission. He didn't know anything about it. He was at a meeting at the Human rights watch, with 80 people.
