      It took quite alot longer to get it in and mated to the gearbox than I showed, but not many people would watch for that long 😂 They are nice to do though, all the room in the engine bay is lovely

    Kudos to Mrs Involvo'd. Such a pinch to a finger can easily knock you out with pain.

    Sugar soap, which is environmentally ok, and a kitchen hard bristles dish washing brush will remove most of the crap in engine bay. . Lining up the splines in the clutch housing to the gear box is usually the biggest problem. I was surprised that it went in without a spanner on the crankshaft to wiggle it back and forth. Great Job.

    Вольво делали хорошую краску для редблоков, я свой блок отмывал растворителем через бутылку - спрей, можешь потратить пару литров и блок будет сиять красной краской без грязи и залежей масла)

    Top work you two! I know what you mean about a filthy engine bay. I keep watching engine detailing videos and think how nice it would be being able to work on my 940 without getting covered in 30 years of accumulated oil and road film. Then I lift the bonnet and get overwhelmed by just how much work that’s going to take. Close the bonnet; worry about it another day 🤣
    I’m assuming the “no cleaning at a car wash” is because of engine oil or other contaminants entering the ground water?

    • @Involvod
      @Involvod  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know what you mean, the only time it's been easy to do was when I used oven cleaner, before learning that it's bad for aluminium. Yes because of the environmental thing they are super strict over here they don't want a drop of oil getting on the ground, so most car washes will say it's forbidden, with threats of police involvement etc
