I tested these out at an audio equipment store and fell in love with them. That price tag though is rough. I am torn on getting them. I would use them for gaming and movies.
I'm sure they're great based on your experience, but the cost doesn't justify for a guy like me to buy it. Since they make headphones every year and something will come out better for less, to me, spending $800 on headphones isn't worth it. I usually hold on to my headphones for a long time before I buy something new.
that wide spectrum of frequency is not important, please stop . 20hz to 20khz is far more than an average human can hear . And sound is so much more than bass. This headphone shines on warm presentation , imaging and treble extension , to the point that is sometimes sibilant on some recordings, with not so great matched chain. Woth the right chain, it is one of the best at its price point. The built is, for sure, one of the best at any price. Please try to educate people who are casual listeners, not sending them on the wrong path. Cheers !
Pretty cheap in relation to audiophile open back headphones. Which ranges from $300 - $10,000. These are generally really well built and great sounding, but they cant compete with the high end. But your are most likely unfamiliar with these types of headphones as you buy mainstream headphones.

My friend and i use these in our recording studio and we are very happy with them.
Had these for a year, and they are incredible! Make sure and give the headband a good tap while wearing them. Rather amusing. '
