- We jumped right into Halo 2 LASO and decided that we are gonna get every single Achievement in the Master Chief Collection by the time Halo Infinite releases. This includes beating Halo 2 LASO and getting the LASO Master Achievement which means we have to beat Halo CE LASO, Halo 3 LASO and Halo 4 LASO as well.

the biggest crime is completing all games on laso and receiving a measly 50 gamerscore for it
Halo games are always cheapskates about Gamerscore. Oh, you killed two players with a laser, who lined up perfectly, in free-for-all, on one of the few maps that have a laser? 5G for you.
And you can get three times the amount for beating the first episode of the original DooM on ANY difficulty
It’s not about the money……it’s about sending a message
@@rocket-propelledgecko4976 eh it might just be because mcc is so bloated with achievements already that giving them out would upset someone somewhere, like completing reach on legendary on the 360 gives me 150 gamerscore but completing all 4 of the original campaigns gives you something like 50 on the mcc
Maybe it's worth less on the 360
I cant imagine how miserable it would feel to do LASO only for it to not register
Yeah it would be crushing, but to see it pop after doing legendary solo would make me jump for joy.
@@zanesnep Its an actual bug.... It effects people, not everyone, but others. Read some forums on it if you must.
I would snap my neck and scream
It happened to me in halo2 sometime ago so I gotta run it again, but since I like a challenge and halo 2 I'll doing it again
Proof that gamers are the most oppressed minority
the best part about playing laso yourself, it actually gives checkpoints so if your ever tired of playing you can just come back later and do it
Yeah, solo and coop both have their weak and advantages.
Solo advantage is that if you get tired, you can come back later while coop ensured you don't get thrown back to the beggining of the level, not to mention doble the ammo and firepower.
but if u die it restarts the mission
@@BEEFYP.I.M.P. You can abuse restarting checkpoints when you die before it loads to the beginning in solo. It's a way of keeping your sanity intact.
@@albertwesker3299 Reminds me of the restart trick on ultra nightmare in doom eternal.
@@shylogik It basically is. Makes them actually bearable, if it is a bit cheesy abusing it.
Noticed in the CE gameplay that yous guys aren't backpack reloading. Double tap reload then switch weapon quickly. After a a few seconds switch back to the desired weapon. Real life saver 🙌
Backpack reloading appeared to be the absolute last of their worries, looking at most of their deaths in the gameplay it looked like most of the time they were struggling to simply turn around and run away from grenades. Getting caught on things like walls and rocks that they would have been able to avoid if they had the aim sensitivity to turn around, observe, and navigate around...Must be absolutely agonising to play LASO on a controller.
@@Hadgerz I agree with what you are saying buddy but doing them small things that make all the difference doing LASO
@@Hadgerz to be honest I kinda disagree at least with the sensitivity thing your talking about regarding controllers, normally I run on 2 or 3 sensitivity and if I try to use mouse and keyboard I get destroyed, whether it’s Multiplayer or campaign I rock it even against PC players I tend to do better. I also didn’t exactly struggle much when i completed POA in CE by myself, tho it did take me 6 hours and getting a second controller a hour in. However soon as I got to the next one Halo... well unfortunately it’s virtually impossible by yourself. Because of the banshees, even if you manage to kill one you die to the other, you also can’t dodge them enough to survive until your away from them.
So yeah sensitivity is not really the problem, sometimes you just do get caught on stuff, or other times your panic makes you forget your gamer sense and cause you to make a wrong call.
@@Hadgerz bits definitely not sensitivity, most pro players play on a sensitivity between 3-5 and they do fine. It's just spacial awareness
@FatedAwakening tried that, unfortunately due to the boom skull it makes it virtually impossible for myself to do that. So yeah, while others have like in the guide by Halo completionist, I tried a good hour of time on that area and gave up after a additional 4 hours.
The worst part is, to truly get every mcc achievement you must do it again in the playlist if you don't do it like that normally.
I did that with Halo: Reach. I'm fucking thankful I found that out with Reach and not the other Halo games.
What's the difference?
@@gabrielldecastro8556 You have to select the playlist unless you make all the correct inputs yourself for the skulls. You risk not having it register if you don't select the playlist.
You can't get the LASO achievement without playing it in the playlist I'm pretty sure but after you complete LASO on a game you don't have to do it ever again (unless you did co-op LASO in ODST and want to get the SLASO achievement)
I’m not done with the video but from your comment I’m assuming my suspicions that he made the mistake of not doing the playlist is what happened
Got 7000/7000 awhile ago. I feel your pain. I've gotten everything except Halo Wars series and the arcade games (and I still will before Infinite) but I even had to take a break after that LASO grind.
Im at 680/700. I really only have the H2A multiplayer achievements and the general multiplayer achievements to finish but they’re just annoying to grind out. I do not want to get 100 splatters and 100 environmental kills lmao.
@@ColorColours I just got 700 like two days ago or something. Best way to get splatters (you probably already know this) is with the giant ice things on lockout. It's good because it simultaneously does environmental kills. But yeah, the grind is real.
@Sam Beckett yeah they’re really tiring. Luckily most of the speed runs just unlocked by themselves when my homies and I were playing through 3, ODST, reach, and 4. I only had to do CE and 2 solo which sucked lmao.
@@ColorColours you nailed it. The speed running ones (at least for H3 on) are a freaking breeze in co-op. And Honestly CE is not bad either. H2 is the problem. Either you save/quit until you beg for death, or you find a friend, make a shared spreadsheet, find guides, and get creative with the random H2 skulls.
Same I felt pretty burnt out after 700/700
“Sounds like a simple plan but it never goes to plan.” LASO in a nutshell.
@Mr America Laso achievement doesn't care
@Mr America SLASO: Solo legendary all skulls on
CLASO: coop legendary all skulls on
Major tip that helped me beat this level! When playing coop you both start with 64 rounds in the sniper. The issue is that you can’t ever get back to 64 rounds because they most u can carry after you shoot is 24. .. what you need to do is have one person never use the sniper for the first part of the mission. Have one person use the sniper till you get to the ship and the other person never shoots or shoots very little . Once in the ship you will have 1 player with 64 rounds and the other will have 24. This will give u much more ammo.
Also when you reload the sniper, pick up a weapon half-way through the reload animation, the weapon will reload itself on the floor (you'll hear the reload sound playing) then pick it up again and the magazine will be replenished without the ammo count being lowered. You basically get infinite ammo for it.
@@NKWittmann you can’t do that in laso because of the foreign skull. There are only two human weapons in truth and reconciliation and that is the assault rifle and sniper
Truth and Reconciliation took me soooo long to beat on LASO, and even so, I only managed to do so because the game, after like 6 hours in that hangar, decided to open the path to the next section without me killing everyone there, for whatever reason. And after that it felt like a breeze in comparison to that section
Mcc had mercy on you lmao
I was lucky enough to survive an explosion that launched me to the top level of the hanger and I skipped a big portion
The overshield makes you invincible during the time it takes to charge it while you pick it up, kill the marines close to it, then throw a grenade, pick it up, the marines' grenades will explode and you'll be thrown at the upper level. You can do it too by killing your coop buddy.
As soon as I saw this title, I knew it had to be Truth and Reconciliation. Your experience almost exactly mirrors mine. People who say gravemind is the hardest LASO level have never played this one. I did the same thing where I had to restart after the lift because I didn’t have enough ammo, and the second time I got there, I waited for everyone to spawn in and had to reset for hours trying to get my 1 remaining grenade to set off a good chain reaction. I finally beat it when the chain reaction killed literally everyone except the gold elites, and I was able to use the camo to take out the rest.
Truth and rec was indeed one of the hardest levels for laso. But if it wasn't for prison skip gravemind would be legit impossible
I found gravemind more difficult than truth and rec. And ive done it all, although im much more familiar abd comfortable with ce
I have every achievement in Halo MCC. I did every single LASO campaign solo. Truth and Reconciliation was ridiculously difficult. I still think Gravemind LASO is harder. I had to reset Truth and Reconciliation several times, but I also had to reset Gravemind 3 or 4 times. Both of those levels are among the hardest things I've ever done in any game though.
I personally found T&R to be extremely time consuming during the hangar part (and the part getting Keyes to not supercombine himself), but overall had a more difficult and time consuming experience with Gravemind since it had more phases that totalled up to be harder. But it's entirely subjective.
i have to disagree there library was the worst
Omg if I did LASO and didn't get the achievement I would go crazy.
oh boy cant wait until they get to Two Betrayals if they thought Truth and Reconciliation was tedious
😂
Honestly two betrayals isnt too bad difficulty wise if you do it right, its just LONG and a huge test of patience

Me watching this when I can't even do easy: "Hmmm that doesn't look *that* hard"
@Mr America you can look up his account and he has the achievement
This level is extremely brutal, you have to basically point-blank every elite in the level with the sniper rifle, it makes you practice your shots a lot to get really better at the game
@Thelonelygamer43 Um that may have been a joke, considering I acc have beat reach at heroic difficulty. Just maybe.
I take that as a challenge!
Just getting through the Wraith bay on legendary alone is a tall order. I can't imagine trying to bludgeon my way through during a LASO run. Props to you guys.
*PLAYER:* I just LASOd Halo 2, surely CE would be easier.

Bro, Halo CE was a breeze compared to H2.
@@ZackAschliman bro 2 x explosion radius and grunts exploding on death and less mass on everything is just pain
And that’s just three of the skulls
@@Endoclaw grunts exploding made it easy to take out enemies. It was difficult no doubt but I think H2 was MUCH harder.
Bro the Foreign skull alone is the single most frustrating thing, like if they put it in Halo 2, it would make LASO litteraly impossible because you wouldn't be able to do newb combos.
I would say the level Truth and Wreckt edges out CE a little more than 2. Both lasos are so hard it’s honestly barely noticeable but my experience on TaR made CE just a tad more hellish.
My buddy’s first time playing through the halo campaigns was literally him lasoing them with me lmaooo so now he can tell everyone he played Laso as his first play through
I am a god
Same thing for my buddy who I did them with lol , only for ce and 2 though
Just finished halo 3 laso solo, going for the rest. Goodbye sanity.
Me too. Only have Reach, 4 and 5 left
H3 LASO is the most boring. No fun skips, no interesting despawns, just boring grind, H4 and Reach are probably the most fun LASO in terms of breaking the game
Well that's food to hear. H3 was definitely less fun/exciting than CE and 2, so looking forward to more skips and despawns
Reach is the biggest cakewalk. You already got the hard stuff done lol. Good luck man.

I Remember doing this, horror, absolute horror
I just finished unlocking all 700 achievements in MCC. For the longest time I had about 8 or 8 achievements left that I just considered impossible and that have 692/700 was close enough. I recently beat every game on LASO and got all the speed run achievements unlocked. By far the biggest achievement hunt I’ve ever spent on a single game. So happy to finally have them all. Can play Infinite in peace now lol
When it comes to two betrayals, I will be praying for you
Dude, no. The Library.
@@IaeyanElyuex well yes that one will be bad too but not as bad because it is mostly close range combat which gives them an advantage because of how halo feels black eye works, but two betrayals is much more explosive

I managed to grind through all the games LASO playlists thanks to all the time the lock-downs have given me.
Patience, perserverance and all the guides. You guys got this!
I know you guys can do it. I recently did the first 3 games on legendary solo, I can only imagine how hard it is on LASO. But yeah I definitely recommend watching Hockiebird's legendary guides for all 3 games
the rest of ce (especially 343 guilty spark) were a breezer after truth and rec on solo legendary.
@@Tannerj50 absolutely
If you're just doing these things for the love of the game, the challenge (without the pressure of time mattering) and the sense of accomplishment, it's really just repetition and experimentation until you learn the programs and discover the right order of operations. Few and far between are the levels that don't allow us to take our time
@@bionicca yep, after you get stuck long enough on one part you begin to memorize the spawn locations and behavior patterns until you eventually beat it
When I did CE solo legendary, Truth and Reconciliation was so hard I rage quit twice. I can't imagine laso
Complete every SLASO campaign took me two months, but is worth it
Took us 17 hours to beat Truth and reconciliation. 4 + hours alone for the check point once you enter the ship. After hearing this, I feel there’s hope beating halo 2 on laso. Only one left to get LASO master.
I would like to remind you: 343 fucked up LASO. The weekly challenges in Reach would occasionally have a LASO challenge and DID NOT include the blind skull. Hardly anyone remembers this.
Silver skulls were never meant to add challenge, that's why they were silver, non-scoring skulls.
The very first one had blind.
My god - I did CE LASO solo with no guides - and I forgot how fucking miserably hard it was at times, this brought it all back, I forecer hate Truth and reconciliation now lol
Played LASO so much the HUD became a nuisance in other game modes.
Me and my sister took 8 hours and 52 minutes to beat Truth and Reconciliation on LASO, we didn't do the grenade jump as we are terrible at it so we went through the level at that part where you got stuck RocketSloth and just kept playing through until we got good RNG and finished out the mission. This took us longer to complete than Gravemind and there were several times we almost gave up. We too also had to redo the mission because we were not prepared with the lack of ammo upon boarding the ship(then at some point trying to escape the room my game crashed). I wish you the best of luck at your next attempt, but I I definitely agree, it's more difficult than Gravemind
Nice
I remember beating truth and reconciliation on legendary and that was hard asf I can only imagine how hard also is
It makes me feel better watching this that someone else was able it go through this and document it just to show the torture, if only you could show the hours and hours of failing single checkpoints and constant deaths to chain reactions.
31:52 Am I going crazy? My memories are trying to tell me that I routinely skipped most of that fight when I used to play, something about making it up the hallway closest to the hunter door and leaving this whole encounter behind.
Yeah, same. I remember doing that as well
I've been saying truth and reconciliation is the hardest for years, but I get called an idiot "because halo 2 is the hardest halo"
Honestly same. Halo 2 is the hardest if you haven't played it forever, I think CE has the hardest (and sometimes most bullshit) level design. Truth and rec, the library, and especially Two Betrayals (worst goddamn halo level period imo), all super brutal on laso
My first LASO was CE. Completing Reach and ODST after that was almost a piece of cake compared to that.
I know a trick for that room where you were stuck for co-op.
When you enter the room, if you go to the right there is a closed door where enemies spawn, you have to kill them or run past them and run all the way to the end of that hallway. There is another closed door that makes all the enemies de-aggro when both players touch it (maybe smack it to be sure). Once that happens one players stays inside the room and the other runs to assassinate an enemy and run back to the room. Repeat untill everything is dead.
Make sure that one player stays close to the door because you can't open it from the outside.
PD: Save 2 sniper shots for the hunters.
I’m happy with my MCC game completion.
Nice job completing Halo 2 LASO. I'm working on Halo CE LASO with my friend and all I can say is, have fun on The Library. We've been stuck there for a while. Motivation dropped to 0 when a Flood that died glitched my friend through the floor and crashed his game.

It's crazy, I have all LASO achievements but I'm struggling with Halo 2 under 3 hours.
Doing the record speedrun tricks are what you need to do it. And even then its hard as shit
I think they mentioned it's one of the rarest achievements.
Hey, in case you dont know it, there is an easy way to get these. If as soon as you die you press Start > Save and quit and continue the campaign, your time goes back to the time you got the last checkpoint. Doing this makes it waaay easier to get the achievement. Some games would require you to force close the game, but in 2 you can just save and quit. Good luck!
Oh man, I feel this pain on a deep, deep level. I was going through LASO solo, and that lift room with the gold elites absolutely destroyed me, I spent a solid week trying to get through that before finally giving up. Kudos to you guys for getting through it.
I never had any issue getting the spectre into the room.
Me neither it was EZ 😎😎
@@IsmashedtoRedbone I just found as long as the spectre goes slowly over the edge, there’s no problem.
Now my only problem was getting nuked by the brutes after I do enough damage to tarterous.
I completely feel your pain! Your experience with LASO is literally the exact same as mine. Everyone assumes Gravemind is the most difficult, but Truth and Reconciliation on LASO is by far the most difficult full stop! My brother and I keep getting to the part you are up to and always take the big L because we spend so many mentally draining hours on the first parts of the mission (especially that god damn first room in the ship). We can't do that grenade jump either, and like you, we are so done with the level by that point, it is a challenge to mentally keep going. Regardless, let's both push on and get this achievement out of the way before Halo Infinite is released!
Really wish you could save the game and come back later when playing co-op...
As soon as you said Combat Evolved I had a feeling it would be Truth and Reconciliation. Oh my god, just even playing that level on Solo Legendary drove up the fucking wall. Dude, fuck that level so hard. I can't even imagine it with LASO. 😭 Respect guys, respect.
Saying this before I watch and I might be right. Let me guess, truth and reconciliation. Sincerely I gave up cause after dozens of hours I could not beat it. Halo Reach wasn't too bad. Pillar of Autumn not too bad. Halo was hard. Truth and Rec is impossible.
You can do it! Took 5 hrs for me and my buddies run (and it took us 4 separate attempts) but you have to save every sniper bullet possible.
@@briannorris5024 took me and a friend 6 hours across 2 attempts, that level is hell
heck, that level stinks even if all your trying to do is play through on legendary with no deaths. even heroic!
I started the laso campaign a year ago. I'm still on CE and I'm only on the 8th mission.
I was wondering when you guys would upload a new LASO video :D
Me and my friend tried CE LASO back on xbox and got stuck on that Wraith bay as well. We took a break and I moved over to PC, with my friend following a while after. After a year or so of dreading it, we replayed all of CE LASO up to that point again, and with the knowledge of conserving ammo, we did it first try on PC. (We even fucked up and used the active camo early) but I nailed the grenade jump and we even accidentally did a glitch that causes the level to end early.
I am glad to hear that Truth and Reconciliation is so hard for you guys after beating Halo 2 LASO. I kept hearing that Halo 2 was the worst LASO, and was starting to think after CE, we would get stuck on it. So that gives me a bit of hope lol.
You revived your channel after your complete and utter failure of an infinite video.
(Completely joking) LOVE YOU GUYS. You need to do a new video of Garish Goblins WR CE run. I think it was 1:06. PEACE
Halo 2 coop legendary alone brought me to my damn knees. Cant imagine that hellhole on LASO. Took us 4 hours to kill regret. im amazed we killed tartarus in under 2
Anyone else feel a little dissapointed that Halo 2's LASO Playlist doesn't actually have ALL SKULLS ON?
Like even disregarding the Hunter Skull that was locked behind that movie several beneficial skulls (like the scarab skull) aren't used.
Like, is it really LASO then?
It should at least have envy imo since the real og halo 2 had that as one of the skills
The game would be an absolute breeze with Scarab on which defeats the purpose of the challenge.
Always fun watching other people's Laso experience after finishing all the laso. Mainly just to see how they approach the mission itself.
If there is a LASO for reach, Lone Wolf (I think thats what Halo Reachs Final Levell is Called) Is by far the easiest
Noooo ODST is the easiest. There's a playlist for just the missions and non of the night exploration, and the second mission you can just drive past everything. There are only a couple tricky spots near the end, but most of it is super easy. Reach is significantly more difficult just considering that plasma pistol doesn't completely disable shields and elites have insane parkour moves, that alone makes it much more difficult. Brutes are much more manageable
@@SuperGoose42 nah, he’s saying Lone Wolf is the easiest mission to complete LASO cause, ya know.. all you have to do is die and it ends.. lol.

Please continue this series for the Halo community I really want to see you guys complete this before the time is up
I cringed every time I saw you wasting sniper ammo on grunts😂
Don't underestimate grunts on LASO. They stick you in an instant with their nades.
@@darealshinji if you're trying to keep the marines alive, yes the grunts and their grenades are absolute hell
This level was a straight crime when I had to solo it, think I hit 4 hours... never again. Between the first part on the ship and the grenade jump I almost went insane.
I replayed Truth and Reconciliation for the first time in years the other day and that level is hard enough as is on Legendary. Kudos to you guys for attempting it LASO.
Hardest part is keyes running in.
truth and reconciliation is singlehandedly the level that stoped my mcc laso run.
that level solo is a pure nightmare, as death does not just put you in the last checkpoint, it restarts the level. when i finally found someone better than me in halo to help me, we still failed over and over, running out of time and into sheduling issues.
i really wanted to do the mcc laso playlists before infinite comes out, but now i have a trauma of that level.
A big tip for the gold elites with swords on the inside portion of truth and reconciliation. when you make it into the hallway at the beginning and do the corner trick. If you are playing with a friend, get close to the door to open it. Have one agro onto you and when you run back have your friend hide on the other side of the hallway where the door doesn't open and when you run back go the opposite way and have your friend melee the elite in the back. That was the best way we found to do it without using all your sniper ammo.
As someone who has the LASO Master Achievement, I can say, that Truth and Reconciliation is BY FAR THE HARDEST Halo Laso Level. However, most of the Halo games/levels are easier SOLO since you only have to worry about yourself. You can just use the Save/Quit trick to avoid the Iron Skull
I still need to try it, but I'm just lazy to watch videos to learn on what to do
16:05 that one marine is like “my grandfather actually gave me this gun I take pride in i- AEUGH” meanwhile chief has just killed a fellow comrade for his gun
My buddy and I nearly completed ODST on LASO in under 3 hours, that was a nice surprise. Halo CE and 2 are really the only hard LASOs, the other games only have 1 or 2 hard missions but nowhere near T&R or Gravemind difficulty.
I have been preaching for quite awhile that CE is the hardest Halo. This video made me feel validated.
But you could have had a much easier time with backpack reload. I used it a lot during the grind
Good on you guys for pushing through no matter how many irreplaceable sniper shots you missed... And missed again... And again.
Also you can melee a couple extra enemies from behind before stealth wears off if you don't stop to admire the kill each time, CE doesn't lock the melee animation to the target. You can do a sort of "drive-by" assassination and be several steps from the elite before his grenades even drop to the floor.
Blackeye skull exploit on the hunters was a nice touch but it hurt my chest watching you guys try to avoid their melees in every direction except the one direction that's the easiest to avoid (left side-step), as long as there's one aggroed to each person you don't have to worry about the second one blasting you as you seamlessly step around the one trying to melee you. Though it I'm sure it was refreshing to have a skull that hampers you the whole time finally give back lol. GL next
Truth in shrek affiliation... that's what I call it you ain't getting into shrek's swamp xD
That wraith section I’d just lob grenades at grunts and pray for a chain reaction that would kill everything
I believe in you guys! I've not done laso but have done solo ledge and yeah Tru Recon is carcinogenic. Good luck with the Captain too! But like you guys stated, adapting to halo 1 is where the difficulty lies and after the mission Halo this one is the toughest i think. Flood dont really get any more dangerous. So yeah, keep up the good work fellas, keen to see the next update!
TnR LASO survivor here, it's definitely in the top 3 hardest LASO levels from every game. Once you finish it, you'll have what I consider to be the hardest 3 levels out of the way
I've done all 6 of the games in MCC on LASO. Halo 2 was the hardest, with Gravemind being the most difficult mission, but the pure RNG of the lift room in T&R is the most difficult fire fight IMO.
yo i know this is past now, but hunters are a saving grace in CE. you can just spin around them constantly punching them in the back, and they turn slower than you move so you can constantly just hit them to death while they pose no threat
Bro I tried one level and gave up I have major respect for anyone who can do this
It’s crazy how good bungie is at making a challenge. And not just any challenge, but a very difficult challenge that tests your skill as a halo player.
You can stand next to a hunter and "dance" with him in a circle like motion. He cant punch you but you can keep punching him
At least you could get it, me and a friend are doing co-op of all the games, and I've done a good amount of solo campaigns and MCC just won't recognize either of us have completed a single level, no matter how it's done/started, no matter how many times we do it.
20:52 in and I cant wait for two betrayals and the maw
When I was doing Halo CE LASO, I did it solo and my aim was to do two missions a day. Then, I got to T&R…. by far the hardest thing I have ever done in Halo, bar none. I can’t even express how punishing and just brutal this level is on LASO. It took me two days of constantly playing to finally get it down. It’s a mixture of luck, perfecting speed running tactics, and ammo preservation (as you said). The Belly of the Beast is by far the hardest section. Thankfully, the grenade jumps in the hanger actually cause the mission to end sooner because you don’t need to return to the hanger with Keyes.
If you’re really feeling ballsy, there’s actually a massive skip you can perform to beat most of this level with relative ease. The trick is really hard to pull off and takes tons of practice, but it comes at the cost that it can only be done solo. It’s called the Wraith Bump skip where you throw 4-5 grenades at the wraith to destroy it and basically push yourself into the geometry of the defunct vehicle. In doing so, you can force yourself out of bounds and perform a series of intricate jumps to skip to near the end of the mission. But of course, if you want to do an inbounds LASO run, then this trick is obviously off limits.
I was in disbelief after doin the majority of all MCC achievements Solo. Best of luck finishing the rest of the games!
I found a pretty good strat for the Tartarus fight. Stay on the upper level, and grab 2 brute plasma rifles. Every now and then, elites and brutes will show up. The elites should focus the brutes. Tartarus will stand next to the grav lift, not moving, just staring at you. Let Johnson take his shields down, and shoot him through the hole. He eventually will come up, and all you have to do is either wait for him to go back down, or go down and lure him, then go back up. It’s a simple enough rinse and repeat strat, and the dupe Johnson glitch helps a lot
They way you were talking about Tartarus really made it sound like a Destiny 2 raid boss
It’s actually insane how much easier CE LASO would be if you removed the double ammo use or made it so you could use Covenant weapons. But those two skulls make it into such a nightmare
"...if the Elite keeps shooting you for whatever reason"
There are two men throwing grenades at their feet trying to jump higher.
But the Elite guarding his post like he was told?
Yeah, that's pretty weird...
people had always said that The Library was the hardest part of Halo CE, and I've always strongly disagreed (with the right despawns and memorization it's honestly fun). Truth and Reconciliation has always been the most exhausting level of the game, and even on Heroic it's such a pain. hope yall get through it cus I'd love to see how the rest of CE plays out on LASO.
So I’m going to try these too, but my plan to beat the laso campaigns is to;
1)Beat the campaign on normal
2)beat that campaigns whole playlist
3)beat campaign on heroic then legendary
4)SLASO(I have no friends)
That's definitely a good practice plan for laso
He said that you had a grind when it comes to playing through halo combat evolved, when you watched the video, it feels like a grind of itself!
T and R drove me absolutely fucking insane. It took 2 and a half hours to beat on legendary. There really isn't even a section of that level where you can say "Well at least the hard part is over" cause there's always some bullshit all the way up to the very end
I already beat Halo CE LASO solo a month ago it's was very time-consuming and difficult but possible i was so happy when I beat it.
Getting that recon armor for h3 was such a "fun" time lol, ill never forget my dad was first one with his buddies to beat the h3odst survival achievement. I was so proud having hundreds of people asking me to help them get it, (which I did) those where the good old days.
Sheesh. And I thought just doing Pillar of Autumn LASO was infuriating enough.
Achievement hunting was my favourite content from you guys, too bad you got 700/700 achievements.
As someone who's beaten all LASO alone and Truth and Reconciliation with no deaths, there is hope. The grenade jump and second camo use doesn't sound like it would help much. Just memorize every ammo location and only snipe elites and jackals. You have two overfilled snipers starting out. Don't grab a clip until you have room for the full clip. You'll have enough ammo, even though it feels really tight.
I made the mistake of not finding the ammo in the room with the inactive wraiths, forcing me to go into the hanger with literally nothing. But I succeeded. Oh, also remember the game spawns enemies behind you, so make sure you go back and get behind them. What I would do for a magnum pistol.
