This looks really cool! I'm looking forward to seeing more of this. Will we maybe be able to track completed collections with this? I love trying to have each generation in my legacy family complete a collection.
Thank you for your comment! 💛 I hadn't thought of adding collections to the SimGuardian, thanks for the idea! There is already a way to track goals. I can see if I can find a way to add to track collections as well, which are kinda like mini-goals in themselves. 😊
@@yellowllamaco I've been working on doing an archive for my save file in Obsidian, but this takes it to a whole new level! Looking forward to seeing where this goes.
What a coincidence! I just now started tinkering with Obsidian and really like how cut and dry it is. It's wonderfully simple with literally zero learning curve. For me it's missing the visual aspect to keep track of my Sims on its own, but one could use it in tandem with other tools to make it work. If you simply want to keep track of stories and don't care much about being able to add a gazillion screenshots on the fly, it's a great choice. 😊
Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself here, but would it be possible to make a .ts4 script and package file combo that auto tracks/logs certain details (that you as the player choose) for you for large saves and elaborate challenges? So you as the player can focus on other parts of sims journaling and such? I imagine something like neighborhood stories, or collection trackers, or maybe even parts of the mccc mod?
Lumpinou has some mods that let you take notes and make check lists directly inside the game. It's also possible to extract genealogy data via the MCCC mod. It would be super cool to do that (if not already possible via a mod or feature I don't know yet). I'd consider myself a pro when it comes to organizing mods but I unfortunately have no idea how to make them or how they really work. 😅

@@yellowllamaco oh tracking goals is perfect! I usually pick a pack or mod and explore that, so this will be perfect
How is this not talked about more???
I know right! Thank you 💛 Fingers crossed the algorithm picks it up soon so more Simmers find it. 🤞🏾 I'm glad you did. 😊
