      That one always did amaze me. Ever since I seen that fight I've been wondering when it's gonna happen on live TV. Same thing with the back flips off the cage! That'd really be some shit to win a fight then climb up on top of the wall of the cage to do a flip and end up slipping cuz your foot is all sweaty and you fall and break your neck!

    DJ's suplex into armbar is kind of a microcosm of his UFC career. Doesn't get nearly the praise it deserves from most fans and pundits. It was literally the kind of move you see in movies like John wick. Thank you for giving it its props here. Flying armbars happen, it's the added suplex slam lead in that made it super crazy

      @Computer Whisperer those get struck too, if someone is managing to pull it off they just are going undetected so far and are lucky. Technically, according to TH-cam's rules, you'd have to edit it in a way where you're speaking over it the entire time and scenes can't be more than a couple minutes long. You basically have to turn it into a power point presentation, and even then it will get struck if you get popular enough. It's only a matter of time. All about that revenue baby.

In a sport where people put down there opponents and trash talk to get people interested he (with that one exception lol) compliments his opponents and even points out when they bested him at times in the rare instance it happens. It just seems more genuine and even though I still like Connor Macgregor not everyone needs to act like him.

    2:32 what do you mean "without mercy"? everyone should watch that fight again and pay attention to GSP, he clearly let go of the kimura because he didn't want to break Hardy's arm, and since George couldn't submit him without ending his carrer he proceded to beat the everliving crap out of him. it was one of the greast class act i have ever seen in any sport. without mercy my ass.

    • @westechmedia4567
      @westechmedia4567 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      100% - You could see George looking at his corner and wondering what to do - realising that Dan Hardy would not have even tapped if he broke his arm off. So GSP then decided to stop and just focus on striking.
      Dan Hardy stated later in an interview he knew he was outmatched by GSP and knew he couldn't beat him but said he decided he would just never tap.
      Such a great example of sportsmanship, class and technical superiority from GSP. And just bravery and heart from Dan Hardy.

    • @micalzoncillo249
      @micalzoncillo249 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@westechmedia4567 i don't know about bravery, maybe hardy banked on the idea that george was too nice to kill him in the ground and profited on fighting standing up, i mean he survived. hard, stuborn and desperate to win maybe, i don't really support that warrior mentality of "fighting to death" because that's how manslaughter happens and stuff, but whatevs. i do love to see an asswhooping though, and coming up with stories while i watch fights.
