      You missed a great point in the video where every time Jeshua appears to someone in the OT, he is eventually recognized as Lord (of all). Melchizedek was not received this way by Abraham nor regarded that way. However gen 18 demonstrates exactly what Abraham does when Yeshuah (the real) is present. “18 1 The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. 2 Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.” When he was greated by Melchizedek , he did no such thing! There was not even a hint that he recognized the Melchizedek as anything more than just a man. Now read hebrews 7 that does a fine job of stating that Melchizedek was not Yeshuah.

      Read the verses in Hebrew. The Holy Spirit "morphosed" the king of righteousness, the priest of the Most High God, into the "likeness" of the Son of God...
      Shem was the patriarchal high priest of God, the position of Firstborn" received from Noah, even though Shem was not born first.
      Shem gave that blessing to Abram that day, and BTW, Shem outlived Abraham, but Abram had passed it to Isaac, Isaac to Jacob, and so on, down to Him who was to come and is High Priest of earth, after the (patriarchal) priesthood of Shem.

    God has come to earth in many forms...Melchezedek is one of them.
    Why that is so unpopular is beyond me.

    • @morningstar709
      @morningstar709 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think its unpopular because the whole book of Hebrew is about the type of Christ the earthly and the spiritual (shadow) which points to Christ. Every appearance of Jesus in human form was the reality and therefore their was no shadow of things to come. Hope this help a little brethren.

    • @dw-rh6fb
      @dw-rh6fb 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@morningstar709 well not really. That doesn't change anything since Jesus is the Messianic form of God. Jesus returns in His full form, and its won't be a the Lamb this time. God has lived through arks and temples as well as the Messiah, and we know this because it is expressly stated.
      So why people don't believe or even consider the possibility that Melchezedek is one of God's forms, is beyond me.

      @morningstar709 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dw-rh6fb hum. I would believe. but it would take the book of Hebrew out of context. If he is the reality then why explain melchisedec. Melchisedec is a "likeness" Hebrew says. A likeness of the Son of God not Son of Men. Which also points to the indestructible priesthood of Messiah. Which Hebrew say melchisedec without mother, without genealogy, having neither begining of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually.

    • @dw-rh6fb
      @dw-rh6fb 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@morningstar709 Melchezedek, like the Father, is a likeness to Jesus, because that "person" is Jesus and Jesus lives through that person, but they are not God in His fullness. The Messiah is, and though He came as a Lamb, He returns as the Lion we all know that He is...also.
      Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, and all forms of God have been a likeness because they are God living as that form.
      God is Jesus though, and He is the only God. The Father will never die, because the Father lives in Jesus, because of Jesus, because He is of Jesus.
      All these people, buildings, arks...are Jesus living as someone/something that isn't His real and final form.
      Jesus always was, but His final form wasn't always revealed.
      Melchezedek knew though ;)

    • @morningstar709
      @morningstar709 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dw-rh6fb by any chance are you saying Jesus is a spirit and only manifest as objects but never is that object fully.? that's not the contact in he Hebrew. Melchisedec is a likeness. being compare to the Son of God. How would one find or compare the most high, perfect in a his ways, holy, undifilled, whom even the heavens can't compare to his beauty? The answer is " you can't" but God gives us the best type ( things to come) Melchisedec. Only then we as humans limited can grasp.

      The Book of Enoch explains how God's Word says that Melchizedek had no mother, no father, nor beginning, nor end...at the end of 2 Enoch, chapter 68. He was the nephew of Noah, Nir being Noah's brother, and his mother died right before his birth, her name being Sopanim(an immaculate conception) and how the archangel Gabriel took him to Edem(Eden) during the flood...yet he shows back up in Abraham's day. His father, Nir was one of the High Priest, in Noah's day...but I've tried to piece together the timeline from Noah, but if this timeline is correct, then that would make Melchizedeck around 900 - 1,000 years old when Abraham gave him honor of all tithes and offerings.

      I don't think so, I believe Melchizedek was a person that was a priest of the God of Israel and not Messiah in another form. I believe he is a symbol of what Messiah would look like just like a lot of things in Tanakh point to the coming Holy One. He's not someone we should worship, just like Moses' life lineups with YahuShua's life in many ways when you study the Tanakh, we don't worship Moses but learn from him as to what to look for in Messiah if that makes sense.

    Canaan is the property of Arphaxad The firstborn of Shem "Melchisidek is Shem" he was on his property the inheritance distributed to him by lot from Noah .there is no such thing as a "Canaanite king" Canaanites are slaves of Shem and Japheth whether they except them as slaves or not. Jebus one of the grandchildren of Canaan was the servant of the first born "Shem" that is why it was called "jebusite" when Shem and Japheth refused Canaan as their slave they also lost the right to name the land. that is why instead of the land of "Arphaxad" it's the land of Canaan. Abraham is the natural heir of Shem. The Jebusites city is the inheritance of Shem it makes perfect sense that that is where he would be found you are to give your firstborn a double portion of your inheritance Shem would then live on his son Arphaxad's property. That also makes sense why the priest hood would be there. It is so simple.... Shem is Melchizedek . You give the Canaanite way too much credit .he is not a legitimate son so he cannot be a king he is the servant of Shem and Japheth... that is until the 201st born of Canaan/Semiramis through Cush (Nimrod) then through rebellion ,that is when you start seeing Canaanite kings.

      Shem cannot be Melchizedek. Jesus is forever a Priest in the order of Melchizedek which whom is a heavenly being from the Lord. Shem was a human being born in sin so Jesus could not come in the order of a fallen man. This is why God created a body Himself and not one from fallen man. Only a heavenly being could set that order in place and not man because he was fallen.

    We must learn to accept the literal meaning of scripture - of God’s inspired word; not the suppositions of man. Statements like “it seems likely he was a Canaanite king” and “became part of the Jewish discussion” place human interpretation above The infallible word of God.
    Since God names people what they are, that, then, is what this man is: "KING OF RIGHTEOUSNESS."
    Think of it! KING of Righteousness. Jesus Himself said, "there is none good but one, that is, God." Human self-righteousness is, before God, as filthy rags. None can be Righteous, but God - or one made righteous by God's power Christ in him! And certainly none but One of the Godhead could be KING of RIGHTEOUSNESS! Such an expression, applied to any but God would be blasphemous! No human could be King of Righteousness, for all humans have sinned!
    And note, too, this man was King of PEACE. Salem, from which Jerusalem was named, means "Peace." And remember, Jesus is called the Prince of Peace! No human could be KING of Peace.
    Notice further: Melchisedec was "without father, without mother, without descent." He was not born, as humans are. He had no descent from another, but is self-existent - "having neither beginning of days nor end of life"; therefore He has always existed from eternity to eternity! He was not even created, like angels, but is eternally self-existing! And that is true only of GOD!
    Yet Melchisedec cannot be God the Father. He is the "priest of the most high God." Scripture says no man has ever seen the Father, but Abraham saw Melchisedec. He cannot be God the Father, but rather, "made like unto the SON of God, abideth a priest continually."
    And there it is! In the days of Abraham, He was not the SON of God, for He had not yet been BORN of the virgin Mary - but he was made like unto the SON of God.
    Notice again: Melchisedec, this Scripture reveals, ABIDES - that is, remains, permanently, continuously, a PRIEST. God the Father is not the Priest of God, but Christ the Son is! Yet, in the days when the apostle Paul lived and wrote, shortly after Jesus ascended to heaven as High Priest, the Scripture states that even then Melchisedec "abideth" - which means does now abide - "a priest continually." The Moffatt translation states it: "continues to be priest permanently." Even while Jesus is High Priest! And so Melchisedec is still High Priest today, and will be forever! And at the same time CHRIST was then, is today, and shall be forever, High Priest!
    Are there two High Priests? No! IMPOSSIBLE! The conclusion is inescapable! Contrary to many a cherished man - thought-out idea, Melchisedec and Christ are ONE AND THE SAME!

    Relating to the idea of Shem being Melchizedek, I have some serious doubts about this part of the chronology handed down by the masoretic text (MT) (I understand that there are a couple of older traditions which differ on this, though in most other cases the masoretic text tends to be more consistent). My basis for this is, if you plot out the genealogical chronologies as recorded in the MT, the timelines flow in a normal and predictable pattern, EXCEPT where the MT differs from those same verses as recorded in the Samaritan Pentateuch (SP) and the Septuagint (LXX). Those two agree on different ages at the time of the birth of the son, as recorded.
    A number of consecutive patriarchs have a difference of 100 years at the time of birth, with the last one with a difference recorded of 50 years. I’m having to really gloss over the details due to time and space, but I trust many readers who study the scriptures are aware of the deeper details involved here.
    The point is that in the MT, when you get to this section, the normal genealogical flow is thrown completely out of whack with what has been to that point a normal flow, i.e., fathers die before their sons die. But where this difference in ages at birth is listed, it goes out of whack and many of the fathers start to outlive their sons, sometimes even living longer than their great, great, great grandsons. But if you allow for the SP and LXX to be the accurate timeframes, then this problem disappears, and the normal flow of fathers dying before their sons is restored (I think a couple may remain).
    It’s also noteworthy that the age of the fathers is drastically reduced when compared to other ages given in other parts of the genealogies as stated in the MT. The SP and the LXX are more compatible with these others.
    Note that I am NOT saying that the SP and the LXX are in general more reliable, but seemingly ONLY in this instance.
    I am looking forward to some discussion on this, because I harbor no illusions of being an expert authority on the Holy Scriptures. Just merely a believer who honestly studies the scriptures to gain the best understanding I can of the Word of God.

    *Melchisedec order*
    God's interpretation in Hebrews 7 clearly reveals who Melchisedec is to the New testament saints. We don't have to follow the Genealogy of Melchisedec since the writer of Hebrews have started mentioning Melchisedec from Chapter 5 & 6 quoting from Psalms 110. Melchisedec is not a type of Christ but Christ is sworn and ordained after the order of Melchisedec by God in Psalms 110 in eternity. This prophetical ordination concerning Christ is again mentioned in Hebrews chapter 5:5 to the begotten Son of God, which is to say to the Resurrected Christ (Psalms 2:7 & Acts 13:33)
    The prophecy of Hebrews 5:6 concerning Christ gets fulfilled in Hebrews 6:19 & 20 as He entered within the eternal veil. Before entering Into the eternal veil, Jesus was the forerunner and in entering, God's eternal Ordination after the order of Melchisedec fulfilled.
    Today we've a mediator (Hebrews 8:6)who's with an excellent ministry established in better promises or prophecies (Psalms 110) Law, Levitical priesthood, Animal sacrifices & blood, brings no perfection but God's begotten Son who is after the order of Melchisedec as our High priest, mediator and intercessor(Hebrews 7:25 & 26) is able to save to the uttermost.
    Many excellent things are mentioned of Jesus Christ who is after Melchisedec's eternal order.
    God's prophecy in Psalms 2:7 and 110:4 was only for Christ alone which the Hebrews writer clearly highlighted in Hebrews 5:4.
    Begotten(Resurrected) Son of God is made a High priest after the order of Melchisedec and not the Apostles. Only the glorified Christ our forerunner after He entered into the eternal veil was made a high priest after the order of Melchisedec and not before that while Jesus was in earth (Hebrews 8:1-4).
    Hebrews 7:14-17, the scripture talks not only about the evidence, but yet far more evdient: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec ariseth after the power of an endless life another priest Jesus Christ, whom God testifieth after the order of Melchisedec. These verses confirmed that Melchisedec is the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ received no old testament Genealogies ordination since He's after the power of an endless life and after the similitude of Melchisedec The Holy Ghost of God the Testifieth. Hallelujah.
    Study from God, about The Begotten Son of God & The order of Melchisedec and not from the theologians and Hebrew Dictionary.
    Praying in the Holy Ghost in tongues, God's mysteries will be revealed whose name is to be blessed. Many excellent things are written about Melchisedec in the Holy Scripture.
