Derek Prince has NO idea who Melchizedek was/is or why the priesthood is called the Melchizedek Priesthood, how the Melchizedek Priesthood operates, why Abraham paid tithes to Melchizedek, or what Melchizedek was doing near Salem!! Prince is practicing "priestcraft for profit"!!

I would loved to have asked Derek, to what extent is ordination for instance into the Church of England, a continuance of the Priesthood of Levi and to what extent the Priesthood of Melchizedek? And in Galatians 1 vs 1 we find Paul's "ordination " is not from Man or through man but from Christ. We remember that we are also a Royal Priesthood, ordained by the Holy Spirit to be Royal we must therefore, be of the order of Melchizedek. 😊
Yes, u are correct. We do not belong to the order of Levi but to Melchizedek. Melchizedek did not pay tithes. We are not required to pay tithes, we are not from the order of Levi. Derek Prince is mistaken on this topic. Tithing is not req nor necessary for folloeers of Jesus. Jesus never collected a tithe for himself yet his priesthood is compared to that of Melchizedek.
@@3kneeboi amen! Few know these truths. But we have a greater challenge than tithes, to give when asked, help when we see a need. Lay down our selfish wants and desires to help those in need… a lot harder than just paying a set tithe in my mind.

I've only been paying my tithes for a few years. Before I was paying my tithes I was stealing from God. My first check of the month is God's. I'm blessed.
Show me tithing as required or even suggested in the New Covenant by any Apostle. Most of all, Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles never even mentions the word, not even once, even though he wrote in volume about giving in the Church. It is a pure fabrication and tradition of men, and an attempt to carry over an Old Covenant practice.

19:30 - Old covenant facts. Kingship came from the tribe of Judah. and priesthood from tribe of Levi. Saul was allowed to be king because of Judah's sin.
22:15 - Jesus come as both king and priest. So he wasn't necessarily from Judah, because he was in the order of melchizedek. There was a new law. The law of this Spirit.
If Melchizedek is without beginning or end and a priest forever I'm confused as that would mean he's still a priest? My Seventh Day Adventist friend claims that he is actually Jesus. I don't believe that but this is a confusing part of the Bible (they also believe that Jesus was an angel 🤦)
Jesus was an Angel bro. Study the ANGEL OF THE LORD In OT. Also I believe Melchizedek is Jesus also. I’m a born again christian.
@@frankiemoore9127the book of Hebrews actually destroys the idea that JWs, and some others like yourself, that think Jesus was an angel. It explicitly says that God never at ANY time said to an angel “today I have begotten you”
But God said this to a MAN. The whole book of Hebrews is how God elevated a man even higher than the highest of angels.
Nowhere in scripture is Jesus ever once referred to as “the angel of the Lord”
That simply refers to an angel that God sent. Jesus is not nor was ever an angel but was a 100% man and now is a new creation, a new kind of man once God raised him from the dead.
That is our same hope

Was going to listen but realised that most don’t even know who Melchizedek is . He is Shem the son of Noah he taught Abraham Issac and Jacob the ways of God. His deans daughter was Tamar who bore twins to Judah. Down that line both Nary and Joseph were related through each twin to Melchizedek therefore Yahoshuas heritage through Mary was from Shem through Tamara and Judah
If God created the universe then didn't he have to know Einsteinian physics long before Einstein figured it out?
If you search the Bible for 'transla' you will find variations of the word 'translate' and they all are associated with Enoch.
The European Bible says strange things about Enoch. Enoch did not die. Enoch was no longer here for God took him. Enoch was "translated" by God.
How do you Translate a human being?
What was the word in the original language?
Suppose God "translated" Enoch through space and time via Einsteinian physics and set him down on Earth 2000 years later and he told everyone that his name was Melchizedek?
He would not have had a mother. He would not have a geneology. Not from any people who had lived through normal space-time for previous centuries.
Maybe God is not really mysterious, but just sneaky!
