    Tell RP they gave up too early on the the Maya and Impulse. Those were great Rx options with the flip-up sunglasses clip, not as good as the old RB3, but just as good as the Exception. Also, if they are going to keep the Exception as their only version with the "separate" Rx inserts they need to expand the available lens options. I think there are only 4 replacement lens options. I'm not saying they need as many options as the Rydon has but more lens options would be mo' better. Finally, when are you guys going to do a Inkas review?????

    Flip up is good solution and Inserts are also good solution.
    Inserts when secure and do not need stickers is excellent.

    A flip up with iner RX lens with interchangable outer flip up sun lenses would be nice and doing that also for frames such as propulse ..

    I tried configuring a transitions lens with a progressive insert, but there doesn't appear to be a way to do that on your site. Can you help me with this?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello! There are no options to configure a transitions insert because the insert itself sits directly behind a tinted or transitions non-Rx lens. Meaning, if the insert was made to transition, it would not achieve full darkness or be able to transition to a dark state because the non-Rx lens in front blocks the majority of UV light which a transition lens requires to activate the material. Hope this info helps! If you have more questions about inserts or transitions lenses give our opticians a call or shoot us an email! 877.289.2999 / info@sportrx.com 😎🔥

    • @sportrxeyewear

      Hey there, thanks for checking us out! Every persons eyes are different even if they have the same prescription strength. Some people are more sensitive to wraparound frames, specific lens materials, or surfacing techniques. That said, a generally flatter frame front with Single Vision Digital surfacing (how the lens is cut) on a Polycarbonate or Trivex lens will give your eyes the best chance for quick adaption to a new set of Rx lenses. For more info and/or assistance, give our opticians a call or shoot us an email! 877.289.2999 info@sportrx.com🤙

    Hi. Do you get an optical insert for the propusle rudy project.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      HI! There is an option to purchase an optical insert to be used with the Propulse called the Keyblade, but we can't say for sure if it's included. However, you can also forgo the insert and opt for the Rx Dock for certain models...

    Inserts are great in one more case - when you occasionally wear contact lenses and want to have an option to wear your sunglasses without prescription.

    Which Rudy Project Rx glasses fit well over POC helmet straps (roadie style)? I’m finding there’s a reason why POC goggle/glasses temple arms are shaped the way the are. It’s to fit over the POC helmet straps. Thoughts?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We can speak to Rudy Project's general helmet compatibility. We have not heard of any issues with Rudy Project's frames and any helmets. As for specific helmets, we can't speak with definitive confidence. Then it may be best to try the frame on with your specific helmet.

    I have 3 pairs of rudy frames. The biggest problem of rudy frames is, peeling of the coating especially on the temples. The coating cannot withstand excessive sweat making it prone to peeling over the time. My oakley has better quality than rudy.

    Can you use these in construction as safety glasses or is there another option?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      These glasses are not safety rated, so they would not have any markings on the lenses or frame if they need verification. The lenses are extremely impact resistant, but the lack of certification may be a problem on the job site. If you are looking for safety rated glasses, you have many options here:

      Note that not all of them are available in prescription. For any questions, our friendly, knowledgeable opticians would love to help you out at 888-831-5817!

    Do the older styled inserts, say for the Ekynox, fit in the newer frames like the Defender?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for reaching out! It is dependent upon the frame. Rudy make inserts that will fit multiple models, but not one insert for all. (Shoutout to them for being so Rx-conscious!) In this case, the Defender and the Ekynox use different inserts. One thing you can likely count on is that an older model will likely not share an insert with a much newer model.

    I think the stickers are not a durable solution and a better way to fix the insert should be implimented in a way it will not be sble to get free or move.
    An jnsert is an excellent solution but the integration of it to into existing Sunglasses is not so so.
    Also during the process the RX lenses in the insert chang the orientation making it tougher for an optometrist to impilment lenses subscription . The Insert should be at the same orientation outside the sunglasses as in them.
    may be screws .. Some other way...
