- The historic village with awesome nostalgia is the village with the Guinness world largest cookie jar store! You don't have to be a cookie lover to love the beautiful and historic Metamora, Indiana,. You can also take a horse drawn tour boat and active antique passenger train! Metamora, Indiana with it's history extending to 1833 was a very cool find! It was just off a main road, but invisible to anyone who passed. You would have thought it was someone's private driveway! We spent hours there...touring the town, riding the train, of course, but had to pass on the horse drawn boat ride. Take a few minutes and explore this very cool find with us!

That cookie jar store was pretty unbelievable. I have never seen so many. This town is lovely. It is fascinating to see horse drawn boat. I have never encountered one of those before. I would totally ride that boat. And the train as well. Thanks for taking us along!

The Ben Franklin 3 us so cool. So much history in those little boats. It does look like an old great town. They always had those kinds of stairs leading to a place to live in the old westerns. Those were some amazing cookie jars. We got to ride a train in Rusk, TX. They have an old steam train.

I live just north of there about 45 mins drive thru some gorgeous rural eras. I love this place it is sooo quaint, and feels historically precious! I highly recommend visiting. Its a great place to buy unique bday and xmas gifts here.

@@RetiredLovingItyou aren’t far at all. 😌 we’re only 40 minutes from cincy and Kentucky and about the same from southern Indiana. We have Christmas walk every winter, it’s definitely worth the trip! 🥰
