My dad loved bluegrass so I grew up very familiar with the genre andfamiliar with Bill Monroe. It was really cool to see his family's home and see all the artifacts from his career in the museum. Thanks for taking us along on a tour!
Bill Monroe or William Smith Monroe was an American mandolinist, singer, and songwriter, and created the bluegrass music genre. Because of this, he is often called the "Father of Bluegrass". Cool and awesome museum tour.
That is a lot of doors and windows, but I can understand why they would want them. I imagine among the poor of his area, in a house like that, they would think he was the richer of the poor. 😂. It was a really great tour. Yes, he was really well put together. He dressed very dapper for the time. Bill likes bluegrass. You are quite the performer. 😂What a cool museum and childhood home tour.
