Great video, excellent insight. Some of the streamers are constantly saying "It's not ready for wave 2" while not really explaining why; it's no more buggy than the current live version other than occasionally not being able to call ships, but that happens in live right now. From what I've seen it seems about as ready as it can be; the only thing they may want to focus on is fixing blockade runner, but they can do that down the road with a point patch if necessary.
CIG has in the past noted to testers a warning to not set a specific City as their home as there was a major bug blocking gameplay... and those who choose to take part in early PTU testing are ok with this as long as CIG communicates the issue was resolved in a future build. Wave 2 should have come out tonight but did not and that is a shame as progress in a realistic way is in part measured by movement through larger waves. Agree Blockade Runner needs more testing - we'll see how it turns out.
sadly ive not had great luck with this patch, been only able to leave the hangars once. but I am glad that it looks to be working for the most part on your end

Yes but in your regular hangar the timer is so short before they are auto kicked they cannot get there to do it. No protection at Outpost Hangars outside Moonside though.
@@TheAIKnowledgeHub Those outposts are so very rarely used it's basically a non-issue. In that case so long as people are aware of their surroundings and make sure they don't call up anything while other people are around, it's not a big deal. Plus, outposts are limited in their SCU count for small and medium ships. The distribution centres are where larger cargo is moved for larger ships.

Do they still have a problem where if someone else lowers it while you are loading, then they can claim your stuff?

@@RedJay I was referring to the outpost. That sucks they haven't fixed that. I imagine that alone will push many away from using them
