Love all of these, I struggle with the no screens before bed myself, but it’s actually because I can’t fall asleep without it. I get super anxious if I’m alone in silence with my thoughts I spiral, and can’t sleep. I would read a book but I can’t do that in a room with all the lights off, I feel stuck with it :/

You can definitely have warm lights on to read!! But the blue light from screens has a very different effect on your brain!

Ok I figured it out. It’s not the students making me tired. I’ve been looking at my sleep and I’ve been averaging 2-3 hours a night since school started. It’s just what I have time for. I have been really trying to get to bed earlier lately because I know it’s important but it hasn’t worked out to well yet. This was a great video. At some point I’ll get myself together enough to follow it.

Like I say in the video - there’s no substitute for sleep duration. BUT you can still improve your sleep by using the other tips that don’t take any time at all! You deserve to take care of yourself Teresa!

Another clever and fun video: about a serious subject. How long did it take you to put this together? A lot of good information here to digest and use. It’s the most basic human need. Beautifully done, thank you!!

Can’t remember who said this (I’ll look it up and text it to you), but a few years back when explaining the evolutionary development of our sleep patterns and why we spend a third of our lives in slumber, a sleep scientist stated that if we were to designate humans as having any superpower, it would be our sleep as it enables all of the enhanced cognitive and physical functions you mention.
