I found this site looking for information on a Honda SL350 K2 that I just bought, it is in very bad condition but I hope one day it will be as beautiful as the one shown here. It is exactly the same model and color as the one in this video. Thanks for showing how impressive this particular model is.
My dad rode an Sl 350 to work while in the marine corps.Hes buried at Arington national cemetary. It was the first bike i ever learned how to ride a clucth.
Aw man. Ken, every time I watch one of these jaw dropping vids I get the urge to buy another bike. I’ve got 4 now. But only one ass to sit on them. ( now searching the “for sale” adverts),. He’s a very talented guy. They’re all outstanding.
Fabulous collection, and what a skilled, knowledgable and thoroughly nice guy. Those SL350 engines are bullet proof!. My younger brother bought a red US import a couple of years ago. Cleaned the carbs, changed the oil, rigged up a battery and away it went!!.
I still have my high school SL 350 candy red bike with electric start in my brother's garage 400 miles away. I rode it last in 1973. It sits in the dark covered up. I think it was a 1970 bike. Later I had CBX 6 cylinder bikes and still have 4 of them. I doubt that I'll ever ride again.
The paint on those bikes especially the green & gold flake remind me of those old carnival mini bike rides I use to ride as a kid. The bikes were mounted like on a rail and you just sit on it while it went in circles. Rubber nobby tires would turn on the rails. Childhood memories right there!
I had a brand new Honda SL 100 wsy back in 1973 as a birthday gift ftom my father. Im a Motovlogger from the Philippines. I always watch your videos especially your Awesome CR500! Cheers from the Philippines
Well I think I just saw heaven on earth! My first real bike was a 1971 Honda SL-70, baby blue with the white stripes , I also owned a 1972 Honda SL350 that was all original .I also owned a 1974 Kawasaki 500 mach 3 , 3 cylinder two stroke, that was forest green metal flake with the lime green stripe through the middle of the gas tank! I ride a 2003 Kawasaki 1500fi Nomad these day's, but your vidio was a trip down memory lane! Great bikes ! Well done brother ! Well done!
After my buddy helped me build an 85 honda shadow vt700c he got his hands on a 71 honda sl350, a 74 honda 550-4, and an 82 Yamaha virago 750. The sl350 had a bad motor and was parked since 83. She's got an extra engine so I ended up trading him a 300 horse 350 out of a 69 chev for it. Looking forward to restoring her.
I rebuilt a 1969 Honda SL350 K0 in candy fools gold but sold it as an unfinished project.I didn't need any parts for it and I could've completed it but chose to sell it because the DVLA were not doing age related plates because of the plandemic and I needed the money.
I wish this was my field trip when I was a kid going to learn the history or bikes and the rebuilds and sales I just went to a planetarium or Plymouth plantation I got I got jiped lol
The sl350 is a well proportioned bikes. Once upon a time I had 71,. Did I hear you say that those after market pipes on the gold one? If so, could I ask where you got them? Also I have a 75 xl350; I'm wandering if the left side SL pipe would fit the XL?
