I noticed you said Matt was hitting the g410 with the ping tour 65 x-stiff shaft. i got fit for that shaft a few years ago in my g30 but i don't swing nearly as fast as matt (maybe 106 tops but mostly around 103-4 according to trackman). Playing on vacation this winter i had a rental set with stock stiff shaft in M4 and Rogue drivers and seemed to hit it well. Should i try tour 65 in stiff?

@@jakebishop7822 So you're claiming that Mizuno is not making the left handed driver that Matt is hitting right now. Yes...yes they are making it... as you can see. It's the fairway & irons selection that can be tough on lefty's who would like to game an entire Mizuno bag. We have to play older Mizuno clubs. Because they were available to lefty's in the past.
Sounds a little high pitched/loud... Reminds me a touch of Flash and of course GMAX. Mizuno, F9 and M5/6 sounding the best this year from what I have heard on video.

With the weight “track” on the rear of the driver and Matt’s tendency to miss on the toe wouldn’t you want the weight in the draw setting to move the CG out towards the toe a few mm to benefit the standard miss hit?
Dennis Wood No, wrong way around Dennis. The weight being in the toe side of the head moves CG in that direction by a few millimeters. It also decreases rotation to help with the start line of the ball.
For these outdoor fittings would it be possible for you guys to include a shot tracer on the range camera in addition to the Foresight shotshape? Being able to see the difference between what a shot SHOULD do in perfect conditions vs what it ACTUALLY does with weather considerations would be a nice bit of extra data. Great series here too showing all the new product releases as soon as possible!
Don't like the look of it. Looks to high tech for my taste especially with the exposed slot and weight on the back. I prefer a more classic look and I buy the latest and greatest driver, ball, gear every year.
Ian, I hope it was you were expecting from Ping on the new driver. I remember in a previous video you mention something about Ping coming with technology that was gonna be a good fit to Matt's golf swing. Back then you said you couldn't say much about it. Looking forward to the full review in studio with Matt's specs. Please don't forget to also review the new Ping irons. As always awesome content !

about the acoustics, where youre standing will change the way you hear it. normally youre in the same spot and indoors when doing these videos. not saying youre wrong, but the conditions are different
if possible when you guys do testing with the moveable weight, I would love to see it where Matt doesn't know where the weight is position. Not sure if that is possible, but would be curious to see the results.

Would the flattening option allow for a higher strike on the face. I'm thinking of testing this with the weight in the draw option, lofted down with the neck option flattened. Miss is a fade/slice. Thoughts?.
For someone that doesn’t have access like you guys to clubs. Is it worth the switch. I just got fit by Ian to a g400 max. I’ll need to build a pretty good case to convince the wife of the switch. Haha
What would the driver being toed down do versus being toe up? I have a g400max and compared to my older driver this one is a constant 5 degree toe down.
Leo Kim with the ping g400 and g410 I’m pretty sure You can’t make it more upright only flatter. The g400 if you add loft it closes the face angle, it doesn’t make it more upright. And reducing loft opens the face angle.

I'm a bit puzzled by the 177 mph ball speed. I have watched Matt since the beginning, and that is a jump, also with Miz etc this year. Assuming that is optimal strike on the face, and assuming that his fastest ball speed earlier this year was also optimal strike position, should the CT/COR limit not mean that the optimal strike speed should be the same? Vs this 3+ mph jump... I get the average ball speed rising, but...

If your miss is a fade/slice, wouldn't recommend the flat setting as it would promote a more right of target start line

Was more warmed up by the time we got around to ping, would not say it was the driver
