    I too I've had my fair share of this 😭 going back at home feels like I don't have anyone who wants me for me,,,they just want what I carry... even family 🥲 staying abroad feels like I'm not a person 😢 I really feel like I'm lost in this life, I just can't find my people 🤔 it feels like I'm an illegal occupant in this earth😔 God I need a life 🙏

    When I came back home from Finland, after 2 yrs of study. My dad was so mad we early talked for 2 yrs. I came back with no money. This is like 20 yrs ago. Long story short, he is late and currently am doing exploits with my family ventures. You will be fine just take the many opportunities you can see here and run with one. Also give your family time, they will come around.

      I’m not opposed to living outside of Africa but I wouldn’t want to live like a slave.
      With the current femicide crisis going on in Kenya and no one caring about women’s lives makes me wonder because home isn’t a safe place. 💔

    ..i hit my wall 2 yeasr ago and almost decided to leave this world in a fog of confusion, exhaustion and bone -tired weariness from the years of trying to survive in a foreign land.....My body finally gave up from the abuse and i fell ill, lost the small attempt i had of a business and ended up homeless in a foreign land with zero friends....I'm ready for home...even if it is to die there..for all its glitz and glamor...i wish i never left for "abroad". Thank you for this...therapy my sister...i will be joining you home soon enough. Anybody wanting out should at least hear you and take the advice to always look after for you first coz there is only one.

    I’m in Canada. After you share with them back home the problems you’re going through, they tell you to tough it up and then they ask you for money right after. It’s so disheartening, once you travel abroad, you’re now seen as just a money machine. The African mindset is crazy.

    • @Mummyk-b6s
      @Mummyk-b6s 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      I used to dream about canada. When I got my visa, I felt deep within that I shouldn't travel, but then my aunt spent a lot of money already. Now, I'm frustrated, barely a year here. I'm not working much for now, but even with family here, I regret my decision and only wish for a way out. As a first born, I have so much pressure to make it that I'm currently battling depression. Worst is when I tell my mum that I want to return, the sad look breaks my heart but how will I continue feeling miserable, unmotivated. I will definitely disappoint my family and even be called failure by going back home. I will be rejected, but at least I will be in a country I can navigate through, not a strange 😢 soulless

    I concur with your message, I felt that and going through that. Being abroad and coming back home is another level of mental stamina needed. I felt everything you have touched on but I find myself preferring to be in a rural settings and away from problems of the town/city areas. People can be so annoying most of the time and people not having boundaries of respect. People don’t feel any shame asking certain questions and embarrass you with it. Sometimes I feel I don’t belong even in the west or Africa. My spiritual awakening means I don’t want to be around fake people anyhow, I can read people and energy too. I prefer to protect my energy more than ever. I went to see my nephew and as soon as I arrived inside the living room one of the neighbours came in and started asking questions. I thought it was someone living with them but it was just a neighbour, I felt invaded. The other thing I don’t like is relatives telling people that they have a relative coming from abroad and that’s very dangerous. Someone could easily plan to rob you because they heard you came from abroad. I love the fact that you are in a rural area which is where I would love to be.

    • @Jepisms
      @Jepisms  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Omg…I feel the same way too. It’s so hard to feel like you don’t belong and it’s even worse being around people who don’t mind their business 😭😭😭.
