Thank you for showing, I like the V10 as a second camera to my Fuji X-H2 a lot. Greetings from Munich!

Thank you for your comment. Greetings from California! I’m glad you like the V10. I also my second camera. It does a wonderful job for what it’s for.

Nice video my friend - I notice that the censor crops in slightly more now, due to the stabilisation being digital as apposed to analogue I presume but worth the upgrade I think .....

Thank you for your comment. Yes, it might a bit. It’s also could be that I angled the camera down a little with the v1.2.0. But I could see it myself.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. YES it’s a bit better. At the end of the video, you could see the “Side-by-side” view. I do notice the difference and improvement over the previous firmware. Also, for best experience when moving, turn Off Auto-ND filter.

Hi, thank you for your comment. The battery isn't bad in my opinion... when using it and charging it frequently. But compared to the Osmo Pocket 3, it's not good. When not used for a while, the V10 battery drains really fast. Unlike the V10, the Pocket 3's battery is great, and when not used for a while, it still retains charge and doesn't drain completely. For example, in a month or two without use, the Pocket 3 would drain to about 80%. The V10 would be completely empty in a week or two. I can say with certainty that Canon uses a cheap battery in their V10, and I don't like that.

Is there a hack or something we can do, to do continous video recording or even to shut down the overheating problem? Bcs 4k video is stopping at 10/15 minutes. It sucks

Thanks for your comment and reaching out. It will overheat especially at 4K recording because of its tiny body with no place to heat dissipate. Are you doing it at 24fps, mine goes over 20min or so? The only way I could think of is to not record continuously that long, but record intermittently like every 5min or so. Let me know what you think. Thanks again.

Hi again, there’s a new firmware v1.3.0 that can help with the heat issue:
      www.usa.canon.com/support/canon-product-advisories/Firmware-Notice-PowerShot-V10-Firmware-Version-1-3-0
Adds [Recording:Auto power off temp] to the menu to allow selection of [Standard] or [High] for auto power off due to high card temperature.
      - When [Recording:Auto power off temp] is set to [High], the available movie recording time may be extended. Note that the camera's internal temperature tends to rise more when the [Auto power off temp.:Standard] is set.
Adds Movie/still photo switch to quickly switch between movie shooting mode and still photo shooting mode.
Uploading Images to cloud service and Manual/Software URL menu options have been changed.

Hi, yes. 4K 23.98P. If there’s something specific, let me know. In the video, I do show the changes that are made accordingly.

Not even close to dji pocket..

Thanks for your comment. I would agree, even though they do have different form factors, and that one has mechanical gimbal and the other digital. Mechanical will always out do digital. I did a comparison video to demonstrate this. Furthermore DJI P3 gets updates frequently to improve it. I can’t say the same for the V10, so far the 2 updates have not been significant.

It's still good. Also, I don't trust dji. Their app is blocked.

Hi, I also agree with that it’s good for the use that I do. That’s why I still have it in my possession. I have many uses for it. For example, it has a one-inch sensor (also the P3), I can easily set it up for low light capture. I have also use it for supplemental footage (b-roll), work perfectly with great video quality, when I need it for my behind the scenes for my photography sessions. Any many more for TH-cam footages.
