    Your trike looks great. I'm orienting and learning as much as possible about all kinds of trikes (etrike or trike). Currently I'm using a gravelbike to go on my twice a week trips with my buddies, but I like to have a bike like this to go on longer trips on my own or even to go shopping, not needing to use the car or motorbike... With my gravelbike not very practical. Beautiful built, your bike, I have to say it again.

      Thanks for the Compliments!
      The Terratrike has actually seen some improvements to the setup, since this video. Inclusion of a full sized, beefy rear rack intended for a 20" Fat-tire bike, allowing use of soft side bags (repurposed Tactical packs, LOL) for tool-kits, essentials to be permanently stowed, and a ~30L quick removable Scooter top-box to bring the Groceries home in dry condition.. Rear tail-light was relocated.
      Current setup can be seen here in a shorter video:

      Last season, this became my stand-in replacement for my Truck, for local errands - which in era of COVID, was 95% of my trips, in being home-centric.
      As much as i wanted to get back to bicycles - Trike is the safer route to go, with my Medical/Balance issues.
      I've got another Project underway - ground up 'experimental' build - that will involve a full-suspension setup, as it's eventual replacement. There's a preview video of that, somewhere in my channel vids.

    That's a cool setup 😄 Looks like a ton of fun. I wish someone would merge the E-Trike community with the Electric Unicycle community. Imagine us all riding side by side 😆

    This is excellent ! Whether people wants to believe it or not _ this kind of inventions and conversion _ this is the way to go : understanding that's not for everyone according to their personal needs ( but ) for so many people _ this is the way to go places without the need of ⛽ gas ✔

    Solid investment. Throw a pinion on it and you are good to go.

    Awesome! What kind of range do you get from having both batteries? I converted my Performer Goal (two wheeler bent) to electric with a 48V 17aH - I get an average of 84 miles (but can stretch it to 95 - just don't want to kill my battery). I love it when I can take parts from around my garage and solve a problem, but most of the time, my solutions fail and I try try again. Anyway - nice ride!

      Thanks for the Compliments!
      I am not kind on battery range, given the variations in elevation/hill climbing i take on.
      Throttle being aggressively used, i can do ~60km (~40 miles) on one battery pack (48v19.2ah). I don't have them double-ganged up - the other battery pack not in play at time, is for lighting, and serves as a reserve pack, if i get outside of that ~60km range.

    This is my second Amazon kids tablet purchase. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxAPUD3wGXVz7iwFny2pBBqGomYxe_7J6U I bought my son his first when he was one and now that he is almost three we just upgraded to this version a couple of months ago. I love that you can control the age content, block certain apps and videos, and free storage space with apps that haven’t been used in a while. This tablet has assisted my son’s learning in so many ways. We love it!

    im about to get a terratrike wizwheelz i think its the same as this one and i was wonder where did you get that seat? look pretty cool and is it comfortable and on tight turns will you be slide off the seat? thanks

    • @TheStreethack
      @TheStreethack  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The seat is from Poland - they are commonly found on Ebay. Note - it's the bare fiberglass pan, and seat cover only. NO mounting hardware whatsoever..
      I am competent enough in aluminum fabrication, that i built up replacement mounts to adapt to the original Terratrike seat mount on the frame, and the rear seat stays to the drop outs. It took a fair amount of designing on the fly, as i also incorporated the dual battery mount around my fabrication. It's definitely not a beginner's fabrication task.
      The seat cover ensures grip of the body in position - i am a lightweight at 140 lbs, and the seat holds me in position. It's certainly comfortable to me, that've literally spent the day at a music festival, on my mobile 'couch'...
      It's a good enough seat that i picked another up, for another Recumbent Trike project, currently being designed/built from scratch.

    • @TheStreethack
      @TheStreethack  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Note - you don't want to 'Tight turn' a Tadpole Recumbent Trike at any speed that would displace a rider - you will likely end up flipping the trike, before you part ways with it.
      Tadpole Recumbent Trikes are remarkably stable on the straight and level at a pretty good rate of speed - until they aren't with sudden directional changes - then it generally all goes to Hell, very suddenly. When the Center of Gravity wanders outside of the wheelbase Triangle - the rest of the Trike wants to follow suit..
      Just FYI.

    Hi very good i like it

  • @stallionvrp

    Is that a stock Terratrike seat or a custom seat? If custom, where did you get it?

    • @TheStreethack
      @TheStreethack  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hard shell seat imported from Poland. Comes as seat/pad only. Mounting methodology is purely up to the user.. i had to fabricate two aluminum mounts to adapt to the terratrike methodology.

      Hi there, and thanks for the Compliment!
      This is a Golden Motors Black Magic Pie 5 Vector 20" mag wheel version.
      goldenmotor.bike/product/magic-pie-5-vector/
      The mag wheel version might not be available any longer - i don't see it on the websites. I might have actually got one of the last available, as it disappeared off the websites shortly after my order.
      The Spoked versions of the wheel are basically the same.
      How much did it cost? I don't want to really know... i'd say under $5k Canadian, including the cost of the Trike. Everything but the Trike Frame itself, was reworked, or replaced, in the process of conversion...
      Costs could definitely be reduced.

    Looks great. What kind of tires are those?

    • @TheStreethack
      @TheStreethack  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Running Schwalbe Big Bens at 20"x2.15 on front, and a Schwalbe Moto-X 20"x2.40 on the rear.
      These are e-bike rated tires.

    Can it be fiberglass unibody and rigid foam seat for adding aerodynamic and safety while reducing weight?
