According to the Oxford, the word sounds like "type". Or it sounds like "t-ow-p" according to others. So either way, it ends with a 'p' sound, rather than a 'pay' sound. So yeah, Veronique is right.
Hi there, it's an artificial skylight that simulates natural light, and an artificial tree. The designer has managed to make space for it by demolishing the wall between the kitchen and the room next to it.
Neither the bali villa nor the featured home looks wabi sabi to me. The villa is the usual resort style with plenty of natural elements like wood, stones, rattan and greenery. For the home, it is way too orderly and aligned to have neither wabi sabi nor resort feel. The output is not very different from the typical Singapore cookie cutter home beside the fish tank for the faux tree. The placement of plants around the house doesn’t add to the intended feel. There are too many small decorating items around the living area that are distracting as the skylight with faux tree statement piece lack the impact to be the focal point.
This isn't wabi sabi, this is perfection!
i love that skylight and faux tree
Creative indoor courtyard, tis biophilic design has a great impact on reducing stress and anxiety. Thanks for sharing, i am inspired.
Nice video
Love your faux tree. Enclosing it in glass is just genius. Where did you get the faux tree from?
Pretty sure Taobao. lmaoooo
It's from Taobao, and made to order to a size suitable for the space.
Love your renovation! May I know where you got your lights from the living and dining area from?
What is the song in the background?!
Wouldn't the glare from the windows disturb your view on the PC?
Love the furniture... where do you get the sofa and the dining chairs?
The sofa is from Grey and Sanders, and the dining chairs are custom pieces.
Love the color of the floor ! is that mico cement?😍

Is that skylight brand from Italy (very expensive) or is it self designed and custom made. Where can I buy?

How did you manage to have the tree and the skylight in the living area?
