In my opinion, and even in the opinion of the creators, this is a “stand alone” game... Probably we could have a prequel in which Rider is captured, or a sequel in which the son of the Hand wants revenge... I mean, the Voice could see his daughter, but the Hand’s son lost his father... Maybe this ideas more than another game could be a DLC... Otherwise, I would really appreciate a sort of spiritual successor of this game, with the same style and combat system... I mean, after years I finally found a game to satisfy my will of a real challenge, in fact there are no levels for your character, no weapons rarity and no weapons a part from your gun and your sword... It’s just you against your limits... Please TheGameBakers, if you are reading this, consider this idea of a spiritual successor... Even if I think you are already working on something... And remember there is someone out there who is waiting... And of course release it for Nintendo Switch, even if I know it’s probably the console on which the downloads were lower... Or maybe not?

That last bit of dialogue about creative directors really spoke to me. When I think of my favorite games or films, it's the creative directors that come to mind first. I know a fair amount of people who didn't dig Furi, but for me it had such a high degree of appeal that felt personally tilted to my own tastes, that it ended up being my favorite game of 2016 so far. Keep doing what your doing Game Bakers. Plenty of us have our eyes peeled.
I know this is just a little comment. But your game helped me through some tough stuff. I was depressed and very...inclined to end it all, but your game and the feeling of overcoming toughnesses, overcoming bosses that seem at first impossible....you guys saved me,even though it is "just a game", you work saved me from the deepest depths of despair. Thank you for you work, you did an amazing job. I owe you
I had more fun with this game than I did with most AAA games. I just finished furier mode today but I can totally see myself coming back to replay it, excelent job guys
I absolutely love this game and the developers for making it. Ever since I picked it up 5 days ago I can't put it down, already put 82 hours into it. The difficulty is just perfect. It never feels unfair or impossible. It just needs you to get a bit better, it wants you to win, as long as you put in the effort. Went from getting my ass kicked in Furi mode, to trying to S rank all bosses on Furier, to doing no damage runs now. Only problem I have with the game is that there isn't enough of it! I wish it had 2 or 3 more bosses. Other than that, easily one of my favourite games I've ever played.
I fucking love Emeric's design philosophy and I wish more people in creative fields would go about using it. It's always so disappointing to see something that could've been great try to appeal to everyone, all it does is make it worse in all the fields it could've excelled at had the team chosen to be specific instead of general.
Un des meilleurs jeux de l'année 2016, rien que ça! J'ai juste surkiffé! Felicitations à toute l'équipe de Game Bakers, en espérant vous retrouver dans de prochaines productions!
Yeah man, it's true -- you're up there with the greats. I'd even throw in Fumito Ueda into that comparable list of great game designers. Your design decisions in that game are spot on. I agree with you entirely when it comes to requiring a creative lead on projects; someone who calls the shots and acts as an authority for creative vision. And it's not always easy being that person, but it is needed to create great art. The same applies to music; the best bands have a strong leader. And though they may break up sooner than most pop outfits who have their songs written for them, at least they burn out brightly, right? :P The only real criticism one can have is of budgetary matters and not having the huge piles of cash needed to put out a _"perfect"_ game. My friend - a fellow game designer - had some criticisms in regards to some of the textures, the walking animation (the feet sliding), and very other minor details; but he agreed that the game mechanics were expertly crafted and impressive. But even given the constraints, technological limitations, or oddities, your game is nearly perfect in my eyes and probably in the eyes of most of your fans. You guys absolutely nailed it on your first attempt and that's something to be proud of. I seriously hope your company produces another action combat title.
Furi ranks up there with Formula Fusion as one of the most under-appreciated games I've played this year...and considering how much time I spent playing Wipeout as a teen, that's high praise coming from someone who generally hates everything....heck, as much as I love DaS, I'm still on the fence about Miyazaki, and most people I know praise him non stop...I might have my own opinion on GP's list, but that's just, like, my opinion, man.
Agreeing with what this fellow said; it looked a bit janky in places but it's been such a fun journey to play. I'd love to play another action combat title from you guys if that's what your team wishes to do. :D

Guys I just want you to know I still play Furi to this day. I finish it start to finish every season, and honestly, I don't see myself ever not having it in my life. It reached for me in the abyss, where I had nothing, was worth nothing. With a laptop, and the cold floor of another person's home. You gave me spirit. Helped me remember what I was. You created a fine key, you beautiful jailers. Thank you for giving me a chance to be free. One day, in a side story, I would like to face The Voice, in an alternate universe, to see what it looks like when one chooses another way, and why they would still be their true selves. Would my own destiny, be altered, having to face him? What insight could I draw, to know the depth of the encounter. What it meant to him to keep you from ruining his world, and taking his little girl from him. I would be quite intrigued, to have to face the avatar of my spirit, and know his voice still rings true. You've created a most emotional game. I shall speak of it, with passion for all that I may remain in this world. -- Thank you.
