I don't love it. Picking your marks when building your list and rolling on the eye of the gods were both so iconic to STD. Pretty much was their identity in my mind. I'm glad you can "roll" a demon lord but I'm still getting over them taking away the chaos spawn fail. And if they're going to phase out more old models, I hope they at least make their new awesome Darkoath sculpts suck less on the table.
@@NexUtInfinitus but you're completely wrong, most of new releases are pretty bad/mid in comparaison with older models like for std, abraxia in V3, new moulder monster and mounted lord for skaven,ushoran was good but had a totally useless spell for whole 3e ed ,even for 40k Lion and vashtor's were so bad until their recents buffs, if youre buying every mini because you think it's strong, the problem come from you as anyway everything will change next patch

What do you make of the changes to the Slaves to Darkness in their new 4.0 Army Book?
Losing the warshrine was also StD's only priest unit, so losing that kinda sucks without having access to new prayers and such
they nailed StD with the Index just to throw it away a few months later

Seems to be GWs Modus operandi. Make new models powerful and force the customer to use them.
