Thank you, Mr. Valrak. As an Eldar player I like it - a brand new sculpt and units which are all different to the current one. It is as good as we can hope.
Empire of Wargames had my curiosity, but you have my attention. If it's new Avengers, new Spiders, Spiritseer and Brobots then it's good box for a lot of players, old and new. I can even see folks splitting it into Wraith and Aspect parts, the latter being Kill Team thing.
Iyanden mf'er here. I have exactly one of each of these units but will gladly take a second of each. Win explicitly and only for me and nobody else most likely lmao.
I'm okay with it. I play Khaine's Blades in Kill Team and I'm considering trying combat patrol and maybe real 40k also. I plan on playing Biel Tan, so I'm okay with more Dire Avengers. I want the new warp spiders more than I want bikes. Wraithguard/Wraithlord is a wash. Spiritseer is the only part I don't like. Autarch would have been more fun or a Farseer would probably be more useful going forward.
In terms of power this looks roughly inline with some of the more recent releases so it's probably correct. Removing the vehicles is good but I'm not sure if Combat Patrol will still be fun if they dumb it down too far.
@@MrNotForEveryone true. But we basically now get "Start collecting" for the former price of a versus box (so basically two start collecting boxes). Combat patrol (and GW pricing in general) has become a scam.
I know I’m in the minority but I really hope Combat Patrol moves away from “here’s the start of an army” to “here’s a fun game mode in its own right.” And if that means no vehicles, etc… I’m down with it.
Thing is, why can't we have both? Surely, it's not impossible to make a combat patrol that is both a decent army start and can be somewhat balanced against others. I don't get why it should be a "either/or" question when it should be both. At least for the boxes that you can buy physically (white dwarf combat patrol could be a little wonkier). "Pleasing both newcomers and Veterans? Nah! Let's piss everyone off by making worse boxes value wise and making them less balanced and less fun to play as well!" Am I crazy?
@ I think they can but they would have to drop the idea that they all need to cost the same. Horde armies would need to be allowed to be hordes and elite armies to be elite. I think they would also need to work on rebalancing the game for low points as right now it’s pretty broken without a lot of restrictions on what you can take. I would love it if the game was reasonably balanced at 500pts and then the combat patrols were just 500pt armies. But I just don’t see them going that way.
Thanks for watching!

I didnt just talk about it, it came from me . It’s not Guardians it’s Dire Avengers, Reddit jumped on my rumour video I did the other day 😂
The rumor messiah strikes again! I remember watching your video 2 days ago and first hearing about the new combat patrol

Thanks for letting me know, i really appreciate it! I'll probably upload an updated video later today
If it is Dire Avengers, and not Guardians, I really hope this means Dire Avengers will finally become battleline.

what kind of list do you run? I am always looking to try and figure them out lol

Its a hero with wings and new swooping hawks
It does at least have the saving grace of being a reasonable double buy for people getting started, although by no means a required one.
This is really good. I think the bikes on the old ones have been pushing people away from eldar.

Sounds fake to me. It has a Leader that can actually attach to something in the box. That goes against 10th Ed Combat Patrol standards. :P
My only hope for this box would be if the wraiths and spiders were both resculpts
so guardians, wraithguard and spiders? that would be interesting
Wow if this is the actual box it's gonna be one of the lamest CP boxes, almost up there with TS. 😂
I don't know the rumors, but if swooping hawks are coming as well then it should have been spiders and hawks. but maybe this means hawks aren't coming
There will be a second, limited run, box at launch as well. We're likely to see Hawks and such in there.
That's a really weak box. I don't get, why GW is so cheap with their boxes lately.
It's been on the downturn ever since start collecting boxes

Lackluster. Buy the current CP while you still can.

I am 100 percent with you
They're basically the boarding patrols from the previous year at a higher price now
If they do I hope they have an actual starting box and CP has seasonal boxes so you won’t just have that stagnant force to play with per edition

God not a war walker. Terrible models.
